Heh.   I would suggest an emotional support hamster, but fear he would flush it down the toilet if it weren't albino.

Comfortable cells in homes...great idea.

https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/teen-son-is-kept-in-a-3000-cage-by-his-mother-to-stop-him-taking-methamphetamine/news-story/8aadf9c9b3f394212745b9227340ac87

Teen son is kept in a $3000 cage by his mother to stop him taking methamphetamine

The Queensland mother has installed a purpose-built $3000 cage in her home to keep her 17-year-old contained.
The cage has steel beams and poles that are kept in place by plates in the floor and the ceiling, but inside is a relatively normal room with a double bed and space to move.

She has told the Nine Network’s A Current Affair program her son had asked to be treated like a prisoner.
“He was crying in bed, and screaming for help. He said ‘Mum, Mum, you have to lock the cage, you have to lock the door’,” the mother said.

The teen, identified only as Wiley, said he lived in the cage to stop him from being “out of control” when high on ice.
“I would rather look at my mum as a jailer than be in a real jail. She went to a lot of effort, spent a lot of money,” he said.

The govt says no to cells in homes, so we have what we have.

Hi Tony –

"Greyhound will always welcome Border Patrol here."

That's what a Greyhound employee told activists at a bus station in Washington state, where immigration enforcement was conducting warrantless searches and arrests of passengers.

What's worse: Greyhound is choosing not to listen to ACLU lawyers after we repeatedly met with company executives to make clear that Greyhound has the right to deny Border Patrol entry on their buses when agents don't have a warrant or probable cause.

We've had enough. Add your name to tell Greyhound that it's fueling Trump's deportation machine by allowing Border Patrol to violate the rights of its passengers. And it needs to stop now.

This is still happening: Across the country, Border Patrol agents are boarding Greyhound buses in search of noncitizens to accost, round up, and deport. Agents interrogate and detain passengers based on nothing more than the color of their skin or the sound of their voice.

Greyhound should refuse Border Patrol searches to protect its passengers, like the 12-year-old arrested on a bus in Miami or the father and his DACA-recipient son questioned as they rode from Seattle to Montana.

We're turning up the heat: Soon, we'll deliver our petition to the Greyhound headquarters, and we need your help so that they finally get the message.

Tell Greyhound: There's no excuse for allowing Border Patrol to board without a warrant or probable cause. By doing so, they're powering the Trump administration's anti-immigrant deportation machine.

Thanks for taking action,

Natalie Montelongo
ACLU Campaign Strategist, fighting for immigrants' rights

----------

This is not Nazi Germany, and we do not have a Gestapo here, we must not allow border patrol agents and ICE agents to board Greyhound buses checking papers. Greyhound needs to tell the border patrol and ICE agents "NO!" Border patrol agents and ICE agents boarding the buses and checking papers is unconstitutional, and it must end.

And it is the same as when I was a limousine driver, the police, etc, are not allowed to search the limo without a warrant. The border patrol and ICE agents cannot search the buses without a warrant.

Salute,

Tony V.

Quite.

Sharing power

Yeah look at Cory Booker.

Beat all those great candidates who longed to be mayor of Newark

Similar path to Maxine and Kamaka*, I bet.

You’d lose.

Well, you know, the political path of white men is the norm. Similar paths for minorities is questionable. Not even worth learning to spell their names. Or for that matter, give them due respect by using their last names.

The fascist crime spree Kiid worships has locked up a lot more pastors and ministers than it has helped spring.

Any Christian who is not actively working to defeat republicans and all their works is going straight to Hell.

Abjure the GOP.

If they're not kicking people off the voter rolls illegally and they are not threatening their opponent with bodily harm, they are faking who they are to make donations to their opponent, trying to make him look connected to communisits:

https://www.newsweek.com/arizona-republicans-pose-communists-make-illegal-donation-democrat-1166911

The GOP is corrupt.

I am not saying every member of the party is corrupt, but I am saying the leadership is corrupt and that the members are unprepared to come to grips with it.

And they hate women:

Here, Republican congressional candidate (VA-5) Denver Riggleman tells the listeners that rape can be stopped by educating women.

Just bizarre.

Washington State strikes down the death penalty.

Great news.
Should've been struck down because State execution-slaughter of human beings is totally barbaric.

Won't help the Aussie mum in Arizona much.
Trump will be getting some phone calls about her if she ends up on death row....calls that will make Turnbull's phone call seem like a Sunday picnic.
And "It's Arizona law" won't be taken as any excuse.
Trump rules America, and Arizona's chamber of death is on American soil.
