Court tells Brian Kemp he needs to let vote many of the folks he tried to block. Later than optimal, but better than nothing.

It's not news to those of us paying attention...

and his adherents, like Redd and Kiid, will pretend to doubt it, while secretly they appreciate it:

Another day, another rejection by SCOTUS and the courts of an effort by the executive branch to block the children's lawsuit against the feds seeking a change in our approaches to climate issues.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/courts_law/supreme-court-refuses-to-block-kids-climate-lawsuit-against-us-government/2018/11/02/34bd7ee6-d7af-11e8-83a2-d1c3da28d6b6_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.8a3e2fb95e2c

If the government had allowed the trial to happen instead of trying to block it, it would probably have ended by now.

Oh well!

And this one is not just on Trump - Obama tried to stop it, too.

Seeing that there are more than 7 billion inhabitants on earth, I suspect kid's off by a factor of 11-12.

Though Trump probably has high favorables among deplorables and despots and some of his immediate family.

The Noel Francisco thing isn’t going to work. If trump pulls the trigger on Sessions and Rosenstein, Francisco and McGahn will be disbarred before control of the Mueller investigation is allowed into such conflicted hands.

The Pentagon refused to do some of Trump's dirty work.

Meanwhile, Trump changed his mind about having our troops shoot people who throw rocks:

Rock throwing is akin to spitting

Can do more damage, yes - but its more the insult....

Yep......lockin em up

It'll be sad to see some who just get caught up in the mess - and join in - get detained -

I think Trump likes Israel's approach.
They fenced off Gaza and you come near the fence or throw a rock and you get shot and possibly killed.  Who cares that it's likely criminal, as long as it's tough.

I think Trump realized that actually shooting dead rock throwing poor migrants wouldn't be popular in the USofA.  Not to mention that a bunch of poor Honduran farmers aren't exactly Hamas militants.

Anyway, this has been a huge farce stirred up pre-election.
These migrants still need to walk across Mexico, where at least some caring folks are providing them with food and water at various stops.  So they are weeks away from the US border.  Trump touts 10,000 or more US military troops going to the border.  Sounds tough, but the military isn't actually allowed to engage in domestic law enforcement. So the plan is for these 10K troops not to have any contact with any immigrants/asylum seekers/stone throwers.
All just political theater, trying to scaremonger up votes.  Pathetic.

The article conveyed that one American,  who happens to be POTUS, dislikes black people.   You may want to consult with a neurologist about your reading comprehension difficulties.   And pathological level of denial.

---OPINION
Democrats take the immigration bait---

---To be clear, it's doubtful that this is a part of some long-term strategy that Trump intricately designed to troll Democrats into embracing radical immigration policies. (They had already embraced those positions before former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was nominated — recall that she and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., both embraced a "zero deportation" position during the 2016 primaries.) But Trump knows how to read the room, and he's excelled in making the Left overreach. No matter how tonally questionable or factually wrong Trump's Bracamontes ad might be, it's a trap, and it's probably already worked.---

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/democrats-take-the-immigration-bait
Except that outside the bubble the examiner lives in the Democrats have been largely silent on the caravan. Using my competitive State for an example, the Democratic candidate for Senate has run ads touting protecting health care, working with vets and police, protecting health care, sensible border security, protecting health care and her own abilities. The Repuican candidate has run few positive ads, which basically have been she was the first female fighter pilot, the bizarre claim she will protect pre existing conditions.despite the fact that the last time it came up for a vote to erase those protection she famously told her colleagues."Let's just get this fucking done". Nothing from her on taxes or the economy. Instead most of her ads have been focused on Sinema protesting the.war in a pink tutu and calling Arizona's legislature "the meth lab of American politics."

Only mention of the economy or taxes has been in a couple PAC ads.

---But pro-immigration activists are increasingly withdrawing their patience with Democrats’ appeasing statements and gestures on immigration. Consequently, aspirants to the Democratic nomination in 2020 are falling over each other in a rush to promise to abolish Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Liberal opinion leaders have been popularizing academic theories that paint all immigration enforcement as an expression of white supremacy.---

https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/10/migrant-caravan-democrats-border-enforcement-immigration-debate/

Deplorable, white supremacists, where have we heard that before? Hint 2016 elections.
