If the Senate seriously investigates voter fraud, a sizable chunk of the GOP caucus in both houses will have to find a different grift from the one they’re running now.

That would sure be winning.

Did Trump just screw the folks on unemployment out of an extra week for no reason?

Trump was fishing around in his diaper with his thumb for his asshole on a golf course on our dime when someone he didn’t think was out to get him (there are a lot of us who are, for only the best of reasons) got it through that the catastrophe he was setting off with this pouting tantrum would be way worse than the Great Depression and be entirely blamed on him for the rest of History.

He’s just making more of an ass of himself trying to save face for having to be browbeaten into doing his fucking job, not that he has the capacity to ever do it well.

It will be good to be rid of the fucking twatburger and thief.

Insane numbers of Americans travelling thru airports etc over the holidays, despite having been advised to stay home to stop the spread.
Record number if deaths.

No wonder Trump and Pence seem to have given up...and decided to golf and ski instead.

"The Shark" ( Greg Norman) is back in hospital.
He reportedly played in a golf tournament recently.
What was he thinking.

It’s why Scott Morrison does fuck all in his position. He realized there is nothing he can do about Australia’s twin crises of beastiality and human inbreeding. He figures at this point, might as well just let it ride. Nothing a PM can do about it anyway. Bad stock to begin with in Australia.

The big rise in covid started with the school year. Too many have an interest in having the live lessons go on despite the risks. The conservatives because it improves the economy and restores a sense of normalcy, and the liberal elites like to show they are big supporters of education.

You really need to stick with the Scummo moniker ...

On China, Red's got more nothing than his usual nothing.
A veritable cornucopia of nothing.
But it's always amusing to see people opine about things and places they know nothing about.

It's quite interesting that the democratic elected president of the USA felt that he had such core support that he could ignore mass Amercian deaths and illnesses, and use the federal system to pass blame to the governors and states.  While the authoritarian leadership of China who brook no organized opposition saw CV-19 as an existential threat to their rule and the economy (which underpins their rule) and took full responsibility and strong action.  All of those ineffectual cover-up officials in Wuhan and Hubei are long gone.

You want to discuss problems in China, there's plenty to choose from, but the Economy and Virus response are certainly bright spots and among the world's best.
If you can find one credible source that argues that the US virus response was better than China's, I'd be amazed and interested in reading it.  And yes, the first month, China flubbed the response.  But from Jan 21 to Dec 21, China did great.

The perfect flu was engineered in China and no one argues that a fascist oligarchy is more efficient than a democracy, at a great loss of personal freedoms. No thanks, to child and prison labor. Mussolini did make the trains run on time.

I dont know.  Do you believe his holding back had no effect on what happens afterwards?

MSNBC this morning surely does.  We shall see.

(I note that they will not have to answer later if they are incorrect)

The Monday vote won't address the "pork" that Trump has said he wishes to cut -- despite the fact he requested much of it in his budget. But it will force GOP House members to go on the record on whether to increase the price tag on the stimulus checks after the president demanded they do so.

"I simply want to get our great people $2000, rather than the measly $600 that is now in the bill," Trump said in a tweet Saturday

Quote
China will grow 2% this year.
The US economy will contract 3.5%.
China’s growth is enabled by government health policy.

Quote
One of the most important growth sectors in this century will be green technologies, a sector in which China has developed a worrying lead over the United States. China is responsible for 23% of global green energy investment. It is the world’s largest maker of wind turbines and produces 63% of the world’s photovoltaic panels.

The US government is hostage to Big Oil and has not moved fast enough or vigorously enough to outperform China in this area. Only about 19% of US electricity is from renewables, which means we are paying trillions for fuel, whereas sunshine and wind are free.

Some analysts expect China’s energy mix to be 62% renewables by 2030, with massive cost savings of 9%.

Trump spent four years knee-capping green energy and trying to bolster planet-killing coal.

What kind of person eats a fucking bat anyway?

Nobody, so far as we know.

Not even an abstinent bat.

The scientific term is "celibat. "
