Its about the drugs as well.  And the criminal element that you would conveniently not lump in with names on terrorist lists.
The wall will not even slow down drugs.
On the contrary;
H.W. and Bill Clinton saw to it that a fence AND a wall were built along the California/Mexico Border and since then illegal trafficking is down over 90 per cent. The same result followed Clinton's wall in El Paso.  A wall sector outside Tuscon and another in Yuma reduced drug trafficking by 95%.
Yuma ain't Organ Pipe. Barriers in urban areas make sense - though note drugs now move through tunnels in places like Nogales. But a wall across the Sonoran desert makes no practical sense and will have no effect on drugs because that is not how drugs enter the country.
LOL
Lack of substantive response noted.

The wall will be in court over the private lands that will have to be acquired.

The GOP always squawks about eminent domain but they’re not squawking now.

Republicans are running a bust out.

Republicans should hurry up and cave already. It’s starting to cost the country a wall a week as their tantrum shutdown grinds on.

Some comic relief.  And Trump has found someone who can make him look intelligent.

Trump doesn’t care about the drugs.

Trump doesn’t care about the wall.

Trump doesn’t care about Americans.

Trump hopes the shutdown will delay his arrest.

That’s it.

http://www.salon.com/2019/01/10/this-republican-friendly-poll-shows-nothing-nice-for-donald-trump-as-his-shutdown-enters-week-three/

Even Rass is catching up with reality. They’d have His Odious Madness at 45% for - 53% against. Shows no matter how much smoke you blow up your own ass, gravity gets you in the end.

Shut down polling shows the diehard support between 30-33%. Revelations and fiascos will push that to its bare bones. Republicans won’t want him on the ticket in 2020. They are just starting to realize it now, but so far haven’t a clue what to do about it.

It will be fun to see how much Mitch will get shit on this weekend and how much Kentucky Dems can continue to raise off it to flip that seat.

I guess field trips are a less painful waste of time than trying to prepare him to give sworn testimony.

How many of the 17 new legal hires quit before the next trump insider gets indicted? I think the range is 3-7. I’ll put my marker on 5.

This should get Bambu’s nipples hard and crotch wet.

Our tax dollars spent to undo quite a lot of the Constitution.

We’re gonna need a lot of reform, post trump.

A wall is good for the economy, good for security, and could be a beautiful memorable piece of architecture? The Statue of Liberty, The Golden Gate and now the Southern Border Wall.

You mention the Wall and Statue of Liberty in the same sentence?
