Not too impressive for Bernie to squeak through with less than 1/4 the vote.   He's from right next door.   Very good showing for Pete's sake.   A drubbing for Warren.   Terrific result for Klobuchar.  Gets her in the mix.   Biden is limping along.   Damaged.  He never did anything with his name recognition lead.   Just an empty campaign on a vanity jag.

So are blacks not in favor of female candidates (Hillary, Warren,  Klob, Kamala)?   That's been my impression.
If in general blacks aren't ready to vote for a woman or hey,  that leaves Biden and Bernie.  Interesting that black haven't supported the progressives,  Warren & Sanders.

Sanders is over 25%, Bo. Closer to 26% than 25.

Biden is sufficiently badly damaged that if he doesn't win in South Carolina, he will never recover from it, even though he will not leave the race that soon. (Nor endorse anybody when he leaves.)

If Steyer actually finishes 2nd in SC, everything will be tossed in the air.

And... who will support what seems more splintered than you (or Biden) seems to think. Bernie's support among African-Americans has climbed quite a bit.

Still 1/4 for Bernie is meh given his neighboring status, name recognition,  2nd time running.

My guess is Biden sinking is good news for Pete among whites; good for Bernie among blacks.

And looks like moderate Klo is benefitting as well.   Though I have little read on her or her support.

Will the Supreme Court grant trump work release to attend the republican national convention?

As Larry observed,  niceness may not be what's needed right now to take on Trump.  That said,  I liked Yang and his creative spirit and thinking outside the box.

Agree that Bernie,  if he any real coalition building momentum would have crushed in NH.   At some point the party will pick a point on the political spectrum... or it'll be a brokered convention.

What people need to do is look at polls, swallow some of their dreams,  and realize that beating Trump involves acknowledging that nearly 60% of voters poll as not accepting a candidate generally characterized as socialist.   The thing to do is get elected,  repair some damage,  and then try some trial balloons that don't make Susy and Bob Moderate clutch their pocketbooks in terror.

Every election cycle, we here at this point talks about a brokered convention and while there might not be a candidate with enough delegates to win on the first ballot, there certainly are no brokers anymore.  My constant theme.

"We just heard from the first two of 50 states. Two of them," said Biden. "Not all the nation, not half the nation, not a quarter of the nation, not 10 percent. Two, two. Now, where I come from, that's the opening bell, not the closing bell."
