The Trump Admin response has seemed mostly poor and chaotic.
The only thing they got right was early on stopping flights to and from China and not allowing Chinese into the US.
The evacuation of US citizens from China wasn't handled well, and riled Trump.
They weren't prepared for another cruise ship incident after the botched incidents in Asia. They didn't arrange for test kits even after China changed the way they counted potential cases three weeks ago, reportedly due to running out of test kits in Hubei Province (the disease epicenter).
Also, Trump provides phony bromides and actual scientists with genuine information are pushed aside. Politics have clearly invaded information related to the virus. Even this idea that people shouldn't wear masks, because then there might not be enough for health care pros is daft. First off, there has been over a month to ramp up production of face masks and to stockpile them and get them to health care providers. And masks can make a difference in crowded areas. Meanwhile cases keep popping up all over the US, and it's likely only a matter of time before nearly every state has a case. Not sure how NJ doesn't have any yet.
Really point me to anything the Trumpeters have done right with the virus, besides the early travel ban I noted above.
