CLEARLY SOME PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VOTE.

Why are you starting trouble

Yeah, yeah.

Your party blocks rational modifications for the virus and I am starting trouble.

Typical.

Reports from primary voting in Wisconsin.
The country may be in lockdown, but Cheryl and Terrence Moore — black natives of the Deep South — felt there was no more important place to be Tuesday than their polling site, in surgical masks and latex gloves, voting in Wisconsin’s fiercely disputed primary.
“After the polls taxes and the poll tests, the lynchings and attack dogs, our ancestors dying and people putting their lives at risk at every opportunity, not to do our part because of a virus?” said Terrence Moore, 50, a pastor and business development coordinator at a Milwaukee neighborhood chamber of commerce.

“I would betray that legacy by staying home,” said the former South Carolinian, who waited 2 1/2 hours with his wife to cast their ballots at the city’s Riverside University High School. “It would be a dishonor not to honor them in this capacity.”

The Moores said they weren’t the only ones who considered it their responsibility to turn out Tuesday, pandemic or no.
The diversity of those in line with them — black, white, Latino, Asian American, young, old, Democrat, independent, Republican — showed they were undeterred and united in purpose. “No one talked about what side they were on,” said Terrence Moore.

Los Angeles Times.

Stirring,  lovely,  and irrelevant to the obvious problem.   Take 180 polling stations in a largely Democratic city and divide by 36.  One station in 36 remains open.   Clearly,  some will not be able to vote in those circumstances.  Not rocket science.

The only way Rethug candidates can win is by cheating.   Which is why they fought the election postponement tooth and nail in court.
You seem to overlook common sense and the facts.
No one “ cheated”. The Governor delayed trying to move the date and got caught by the Wisconsin laws. And the courts followed the law.
If election law is to be changed it has to be done by the Legislature not by Courts.
Oh and one other observation. The primary set a record for absentee ballots so a lot of voters saw what was unfolding and reacted by getting absentee ballots.
Voting is a responsibility and takes a little work to do it correctly.
I’d say the Wisconsin voters did pretty well.
Ignoring as is your wont that the Repo majority legislature refused to act despite the obvious pandemic issue. Because they are fine with people in urban areas waiting 2 hours during a pandemic. And have your usual issue with the issues in the lives of others. At least, others that vote what is for you the wrong way.
LOL
If you want to point fingers you might want to start with the lack of of foresight of the Governor who dillydallied on what to do for weeks. Then he floated making the entire election mail order absentee which was absurd and then postponing which had no legal remedy without action by the Legislature. To add to the confusion Joe Biden favored going forward,  Bernie Sanders wanted to postpone.
The bottom line is voters had plenty of time to file for and return an absentee ballot (2/3 of the 1.2 million requested were.)

The CDC is priming they third and fourth wave of infections. They are working to ensure there is still enough of an emergency in November for trump to cancel the election that will transform him from a dependent on the U.S. tax payer’s largesse to a defendant in the U.S. tax payer’s justice system.

There’s no partisanship in the foxhole. The leadership that made them choose between health and democracy solely for the sake of a Supreme Court seat was extremely partisan.

The kind of leadership who gives no fucks for the people who elect them.

Class issues are based in race.

No.  Class issues are based in economics.

The GOP has largely successfully conflated race and class to prevent class consciousness and block measures that would assist the poor.

No.

Just like that no?

Successful is the word. White people by and large vote for policies they think will hurt black people thus biting off their nose to spite their own face.

I think you give way to much credit to most white people (or humans, in general). It would require vastly more effort than most are capable of to consider the impact of policies on black people. Or help white people. Or much else.

They do vote for people who pander to them (or seem to), to the notion of putting down people of color (or as they like to put it, stop them from taking what is ours!) - but they have no concept of policy when they vote the bulk of the time.

And yes, for the most part, white people are racist as fuck. But even more they think they are self-serving as fuck. They are mostly wrong.

Para 2 is what I said.

Racism is not some guy yelling “This will hurt the blacks!”

It’s the Us vs Them zero sum bullshit they fall for every time.

This is the healthcare system Republicans voted for on the strength of the Tea Party...

And President Blackenstein.

What was the legal basis for the court ruling?  By law - the ruling was 100% just.  They cannot make a ruling that gives any advantage off the initial election rules - all votes in by April 7 - and extending the deadline would have done just that.

I suppose members of the WIS Rep. party could have just let the Gov's order stand.  I don't begrudge you that.  But is that what their party elects them for?  To give away advantages/votes?

Voters who happened to know their precinct station would be closed yesterday and that the only open station for them was miles away.   What could possibly go wrong?   All those grannies in Democratic strongholds can temporarily cancel their plantar fasciitis and easily travel miles and stand in line for hours!   All those workers can take extra hours off work and stand in line!   All those immune-challenged people can go stand in a crowd for hours and wave their magical antiviral wand!   All those who can't drive can crowd into buses and breathe on each other!   Oh wait...

Conservatives bleating about fairness in Wisconsin --- you don't want a fair vote process.   You don't want voting to be simple and accessible for all citizens,  because most citizens know your policies are garbage.

Questions answered by 800,000 plus voters who rightly concluded that voting in person
during pandemic restraints might be a problem.  Too bad those who didn’t were poorly served by their Governor.
