Trump says it's okay for Pompeo to have a government employee wash his dishes if Pompeo's wife is away.

Ben Sasse's graduation speech to the high school class 30 years after his own laid enough of an egg that a school committee member apologized to the students, saying they deserved better.

I'm sure it did. As an "educator" you must have access to data bases that the rest of us don't.
Or you don’t care to look for.

Fuckin anecdotes...

https://www.foxnews.com/media/coronavirus-patient-says-hydroxychloroquine-saved-his-life

Shame on the doctor who had to be asked by this patient to try the drug

How many have died without ever being put on HCQ?
Just because you and the patient do not understand the difference between temporal coincidence and causation does not mean we don't.

You mourn the dead - but not those who may have been helped but were not given the drug?
There are no valid scientific studies that indicate that drug has any effect on coronavirus.
Quote

And don't thank heavens for those who survived after using it?
The temporal coincidence between that drug and coronavirus is the issue you ass, not their recovery. As I noted, you have shown yourself incapable of distinguishing coincidence from causation.

Sounds political to me.
No you jackass, it is SCIENCE.

And no - i am not saying that every patient given HCQ that recovered would not have if they were not put on it - so save that bit of 4th grade logic spew.
No, I suspect most 4th graders think like you do. Understanding how to look at data scientifically is developed later. By some, but not by you.

“People jeered “you are the virus” as the journalist walked past. A group broke out into a chant: “Fake news is not essential.” One man followed reporter Kevin Vesey as he tried to keep six feet between himself and the unmasked protester.
“I think you need to back away from me, sir,” Vesey said from behind the camera.
“No, I’ve got hydroxychloroquine, I’m fine,” the man answered, referencing an anti-malaria drug President Trump had promoted in the early weeks of the pandemic.”

The link is a paysite. So fuck it.

The cracker state has always run on human misery, waste, stupidity, and homicide.

Trump dying a horrible death spurred by his impenetrable ignorance and penchant to experiment with off label drug use would be highly instructive to his followers.

You have to wonder if Kid would be so sanctimonious (remember sanctimonious Kid is the best Kid) about a drug which no serious medical research has shown to actually be effective against Covid-19, had Trump not pumped it.

I also wonder why Kid never concerns himself with the shortages of the drug for those people who have conditions that can actually be helped by it.  It seems to me that a little sanctimony should be in order there as well, Kid.
What shortages ?

If Yankguy were to look back in the forum he would see I was touting HCQ before Trump ever "pumped" it.

When thousands benefit you can shove "science" up your pie hole.

Show me the thousands that have died of the dreaded HCQ arrhythmia

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-05-coronavirus-contributing-drug-shortages-canada.html

This includes hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, among others.

According to The Guardian:
Quote
[Even though studies are increasingly finding that hydroxychloroquine is not effective to treat Covid-19, and despite low case numbers of the virus in Australia, the stockpile of hydroxychloroquine could not be made available to consumers struggling to source it for autoimmune diseases, a TGA spokesman said. However, the TGA acknowledged the drug was out of stock at some pharmacies, and that there was a national shortage of a generic hydroxychloroquine brand./size]

But in the US, Ward is right that there is no shortage. Why not?

Because Kid is full of shit.
Quote
Between late April and early May, after new reports suggested that the drug did not help hospitalized COVID-19 patients and the FDA warned against the use of hydroxychloroquine outside of the hospital setting or a clinical trial due to risk for heart rhythm problems (bit.ly/2WFOEog), Prime saw its utilization of the drug return to pre-baseline levels. This suggests that there is no longer a high demand for the product as a COVID-19 treatment in the outpatient setting, “which is consistent with the evolving clinical trial data suggesting that the risks (cardiovascular) may outweigh any benefits for this drug in the treatment of COVID-19,” Dr. Lassen said.

Butte County, CA had a self-rapturing congregation as well. Positive cases sent a few hundred into quarantine when a few of the 180 parishioners brought their virus to church.

There are no valid scientific studies that indicate that drug has any effect on coronavirus.

When thousands benefit, you might have some science to look for. With no evidence of any benefit, you’d rather bury science in a dark place than back off your stupid fucking idea. Make plans for your own pie hole, Karen. Thanks all the same.

You can find some of those bodies in refrigerated meat delivery trucks parked behind hospitals all around the country these days.

The kids are calling them trump burger busses for some reason. It’s a win for trump. He’s got his name on something famous all across the country in a bigger way than anyone ever has before.
