Yank, the guy kiid is hyping is also a climate change denier.

Not hyping any "guy", LB.

But I think France did err, yes.

Maybe dead French aren't as important to you as dead American negro.

I’d rather listen to scientists who aren’t quacks hyping magic beans.

The quack has found quite a few needles in his haystack.

But stick with Dr Safe Goggles - what he does is special as well.

Republican crooks who lost their elections but found a corrupt path to power anyway are finding more interesting things to do with their time instead of protecting the heath, safety or livelihoods of their constituent employers.

http://www.vox.com/2020/5/19/21262376/georgia-republicans-cancel-election-state-supreme-court-barrow-kemp-blackwell

If only there were some way to conducting an election without so much person to person contact.

If anyone ever figures that out, they should mail a clue to the Georgia statehouse. They’ll need to use small words and a large font. They’ll need to include plenty of colorful illustrations.

Republican strategy

Make the rules

Break the rules

Fuck the rules

1950's style chauvinism used to justify corruption. Your "president" of the United States of America:

"I'd rather have [Pompeo] on the phone with some world leader than have him wash dishes because maybe his wife isn't there."

You think Mike should wash dishes?  Is that your point?
No, if he needs someone to wash dishes he should hire and pay someone to do it. Not steal a government employee's labor. Or walk your own fucking dog.

Has nothing to do with what Needs said
No, it is on his point, in contrast to your misstatement of it. You seem to be deliberately drifting into Red's ntellectual dishonesty territory. Careful; he might sue you for trademark infringement.

Its OK, pal

Sorry for the whataboutism, but...

Wasnt it Obama's WH that went almost 4 years without an Inspector General to Hilary's State Department?

By the way, Mr Linnick did good, mostly non partisan work once he got the job - and I expect he will do so at the DEA as well.

None of what you posted is news, Barton

Known to all

So again - take the statement I highlighted

Evidence of what?

Surely a case where HCQ "cured" a patient is not evidence that the drug would work on all patients

This has never been stated.

Yet you act as it has.  Or maybe the "what" in your statement is something different.  What is the effectiveness of this drug in one patient NOT evidence of?

YG at least says it is not evidence that it was the drug at all that was the turning point.  Is this what you - also - are saying?

If so...  fine.  But thousands of times, coincidentally?

Funny.

-----

There are some freshman community college kids congregating outside your Starbucks - maybe you can get your rocks off talking down to them.  Here it is neither necessary nor appreciated.

Peace.

My posts have clearly stated the issues with the data.   Your latest response continues to mischaracterize them and show little comprehension of what's been explained and linked for you.   That's not talking down,  that's describing the situation.  On the Net,  this sort of relentlessly "misunderstanding" is called "sealioning. "  I won't keep replying to this approach.

I like Yank's succinct replies.   I will continue to enjoy them.   But I won't be taking the time to reply to your posts.    Life is short, and it's possible your time remaining is shorter than mine,  so I'd be reluctant to waste it.

There was an acting IG, yes. You do understand the difference between that and firing the IG to interfere with an investigation or two, right? I am sure someone like Hannity has as usual generalized in the abstract to the point of uselessness to try to find something comparable, but it is not.

Trump has stated he allows the secretaries to decide if one of Obama's appointees should be terminated.  He shows them that respect.

Trump OK'd the firing (re-assignment, I have heard) of Mr Linnick.  Yes, this is true.  He denies being behind it.  But of course you willl say he is lying - and round we go......

Yawn.........

Oh, I have no beef with the idea that he would fire someone doing their supposedly independent job well just because of who appointed them, or that he would fire an IG investigating one of his Cabinet members because the target of the investigation asked him to. That you seem to think either of those are not a problem is the problem.

Dems would have you believe Trump had already cleaned house.

Keeping on Obama appointees as long as he has shows he trusts his secretaries - as it should be.

Was the current probe keeping Linnick from other more important matters?  Could be.

Linnick did good work on Clinton matters - but she got away with a slap on the wrist.

Like I said - he will land on his feet.  Georgetown guy - good stock.

The role of the IG is not to earn the trust of Cabinet secretaries but to when necessary investigate them.

Trump is covering up far too much to make moves at more than a skulking pace. While being among the most corrupt republicans ever, a real cesspit of a depraved club, he has outstripped his rivals for sheer incompetence, ineducability, and lethargy.

His desire to clear house, like his desire to succeed in business, or in love, or family, or golf, or anything much other than being a soft pliable puppet, has been a slow, chaotic, idiotic underperformance. Thank God he’s underperformed as badly at securing loyalty and clearing house as he has in all the areas for which he’s famous. Otherwise we’d have no idea what a pathetic criminal shit show he’s making out of the office of the presidency.

Because trump is such a fuck up we know the urgency by which he must be forced to resign or otherwise be removed from power.
