Trump also counter-factually stated:
"The church leaders loved that I went there with the Bible," Trump said.

If "church leaders" is translated as "Franklin Graham and Robert Jeffress" then it's possibly factual.   The sentence would seem to imply the ministry of St John's, but of course 45 is fairly cunning at leaving ambiguity he can later fall back on.

Just saw this interview with Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.

it about the Trump and his incompetence and lack of leadership.

Pop doesn't mince words-its a quick and good read.

https://sports.yahoo.com/gregg-popovich-unleashes-fiery-statement-on-trump-what-we-have-is-a-fool-in-place-of-a-president-184310589.html

“The thing that strikes me is that we all see this police violence and racism and we’ve seen it all before but nothing changes. That’s why these protests have been so explosive. But without leadership and an understanding of what the problem is, there will never be change. And white Americans have avoided reckoning with this problem forever because it’s been our privilege to be able to avoid it. That also has to change.”

“It’s unbelievable. If Trump had a brain, even if it was 99 percent cynical, he would come out and say something to unify people. But he doesn’t care about bringing people together. Even now. That’s how deranged he is. It’s all about him. It’s all about what benefits him personally. It’s never about the greater good. And that’s all he’s ever been.”

“It’s so clear what needs to be done. We need a president to come out and say simply that ‘Black Lives Matter.’ Just say those three words. But he won’t and he can’t. He can’t because it’s more important to him to mollify the small group of followers who validate his insanity. But it’s more than just Trump. The system has to change. I’ll do whatever I can do to help because that’s what leaders do. But he can’t do anything to put us on a positive path because he’s not a leader.

“It’s like what Lindsay Graham and Ted Cruz used to say when they had the courage to say it: He’s unfit. But they have chosen instead to be invisible and obsequious in the face of this carnage. In the end what we have is a fool in place of a president, while the person who really runs the country, Senator Mitch McConnell, destroys the United States for generations to come. McConnell has destroyed and degraded our judicial system. He has tried to destroy heath care. He’s destroyed the environment. He’s the master and Trump’s the stooge, and what’s funny is that Trump doesn’t even know it. Trump’s always wanted to be part of the in-group, but McConnell is an in-group of one and Trump plays the fool.

It would make a helluva 2020 commercia-sound bite for Biden or Amy McGrath (running against MM in KY)

I saw the Popovich interview yesterday -- he pretty much nailed it.   Another voice with some power to whittle bits off the Base.

I believe his "just inspecting" line as much as Rose believed the same excuse from Finn.

Assume several of us are not up on the sequel trilogy.  I've seen the first three (in terms of film release chronology, not saga chronology) and that's all.   Are we alluding to starships,  rental units,  taverns,  reproductive organs,  what?

Finn was preparing to use an escape pod to get away and Rose finds him, asks what he is doing. He explains that he was just inspecting it. She pretends to appear to believe him, before setting it up for him to be unable to get away.

The first and only thing the DEA needs to be looking into is how much nose candy trump has stashed in the people’s bunker.

Bill Barr should be blood eagled for all his contributions to our culture.

Will trump ever mature enough to grasp object permanence?

Did he think that by turning the lights out and hiding in the basement people would suddenly forget that the building he was in is the White House?

Is this what he does every time his creditors come calling?

It’s no wonder he won’t stand for re-election in November.

A small bit of good news.....Stephen King (Iowa-R) lost his primary.  The good people of Iowa got fed up or they found someone worse?
If such a thing is possible.

They could elect Bambi-ilk, I suppose, if such a creature exists.

Lots of bambu-ilk in the world today.
White, heterosexual, Christian, males. [or males with Christian values]...not of the Left/Far Left.
Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrrison ["ScoMo"] is one such person].
He won the 'unwinnable' election, snatched it out of the hands of the Left/Far Left.

He's wasting his time.
He'd be better off spending his life relaxing in resorts and playing golf.
Latest poll shows that;
Two thirds of Americans support the protests.

The Left are forcing new ‘victimised stereotypes’ upon minorities

Sky News host Rowan Dean says a renewed form of racism has emerged from the hard left who are “demanding a new stereotype” be put on African-Americans, one where “you have to be a victim of an injustice perpetrated not by a black person”. Mr Dean told Sky News for those on the hard left or even the “normal left” the only black lives which matter are “those that fit a stereotype”. “This is racism,” he proclaimed.

Yes, seemingly lost on the "Black lives matter" folk are the numbers of Black lives taken by other Black people...the numbers of which are sky-high on the graph.
In contrast, the number of Black lives taken by White people are very low on the graph.
