I have worn a mask lawfully from the start - and have been behind school openings within reason from the outset.

I also am against day-long mask-wearing at my kids' schools...

How is there a masking option at schoolhouse that wouldn't be day-long?   It makes no sense to mask only until lunch and then everyone breathe on each other until 3 pm.

This sounds like some sort of equivocation to me.   Either masks are important,  and therefore need to be on all the time in the classroom,  or they aren't, in which case no point in having them at all.

0/85 died?

As I understand it one of them died.

So far.

And we don't know what, if any, long term consequences the others will face.

Nothing has changed

Anything else?

Nothing has changed-you mislead constantly.

In this exchange with Bo from March you dispute the effectiveness of masks.

About face masks?

I don't know, people may wear them incorrectly, or rub their face more or some other nonsense you were pushing ...

As far as I can tell, only the USofA, where a stubborn minority doubt climate change and deny evolution, are the benefits of face masks disputed.

just about universally disputed

You speak so confidenally about a subject you know nothing about.

How many people did you infest with your ignorance?

And if the mask effectiveness was universally disputed how does that square with your claim you've worn one without reservation from the "start"?

Doesn't have to be a point

Given that you called it into doubt both with the original news and by implication in this set of posts, that there doesn't need to be one doesn't mean you didn't have one.

And since you didn't claim not to have had one, it is yet another mealy-mouthed response from you.

Quote
“These kids have got to get back to school,” Gov. Parson, a Republican, said in an interview on Friday with talk-radio host Marc Cox. “They’re at the lowest risk possible.”

Parson continued: “And if they do get Covid-19, which they will—and they will when they go to school—they’re not going to the hospitals. They’re not going to have to sit in doctor's offices. They’re going to go home, and they’re going to get over it.”

So what if they spread the virus to their parents, their grandparents, or their baby sitters, right?!

Governor Parsons should be arrested before he joins the murderers row.

And as predicted:

Quote
In the same interview on Friday, Gov. Parson said he would likely exercise his pardon powers if prosecutors bring criminal charges against the St. Louis couple (Mark and Patricia McCloskey) who brandished firearms at a group of Black Lives Matters protesters as they marched past their home.

They should still be tried and the jury should still decide if they are guilty or not, as if there were actually a chance of justice being done.

If the governor wishes to pardon them, there is nothing to be done, same as with any politically motivated pardon.

Fauci says he is more a realist than an alarmist, though he grants others have their opinions.

He just thinks they are wrong.
