Vote by mail gives you the ability to vote early and safely.

Requiring people to choose going to the polls Nov 3rd and potentially putting their and their families health at risk, when a safe and secure and sensible alternative is available, seems counter-productive in a democratic society where wide participation is preffered. Here the aim seems to be to keep voter turn-out artificially low.

And people are bothered greatly as the Trump transparency is all too transparent.

He will gravely injure this country if it suits his narrow purposes.

Older folks and minorities are more likely to miss the vote Nov 3 if it has to be in person

This favors Republicans

But COVID itself has greatly benefited the Dems.

It is what it is.

When a party’s electoral strategy depends on fewer people voting it means they know their policies suck for most Americans.

The incidence of COVID-19 is by nature.

The handling of COVID has greatly benefited the Dems, but that is almost exclusively on President Trump and the GOP.

The missing of the vote "by elders and minorities because of COVID-19 if it has to be in person" is a purely GOP construct INTENDED to reduce the number of votes by those people.

"EVIL is what it is," in this instance. Your refusal to acknowledge that is your hallmark.

Trump's inept and unfortunately incompetent response to COVID has greatly favored DEMS.   There was an opportunity for Trump to do a good job, act like a leader, and turn COVID into a positive for himself and the GOP.

While minimizing the negative for the country.

He has moved to maximize the negative for the country. He is trying to "build" on that, even now.

Yep, it certainly didn't have to be this way.

Imagine a world in which Americans started wearing masks on March 3 when I was declaiming the need.

Or April 3rd.

Or even May 3 ...

The Trump ineptitude and nonchalance means that failure to deal with the virus properly will bleed into herd immunity if Trump is reelected.  With Dr. Atlas as cover for such a hideous experiment.

Trump's new coronavirus buddy Dr, Atlas is extremely dangerous.  Usually I wouldn't use such a strong adjective...

His area of expertise is magnetic resonance imaging.   I saw one of Trump's apparatchiks attempt to make this sound like a feature instead of a bug.   Something like We need a task force as diverse as possible....translation:  having more experts on virology and epidemiology would just be too narrow and one-note.

More like...

translation: having more experts on virology and epidemiology would give us answers that run counter to what we want to do, as would having open-minded experts in other fields.

Trump is running on the issues.

He is ahead on the economy and on "having the necessary capacity" (heh)

Behind on

-  race relations
-  uniting the nation
-  COVID

Some work to do, yes.
