Nobody in this administration is responsible for anything that goes wrong. Sgt. Schultz runs almost every department.

They know nothink!

"No think" is right.

Quote
Postmaster General Louis DeJoy told a Republican-led Senate committee that since his arrival, the Postal Service has removed 700 collection boxes, of "which I had no idea that that was a process."

When he found out this was happening, DeJoy told lawmakers he and the leadership team discussed it and decided to halt the removals.

"When I found out about it, we socialized with the leadership team and looked at what the excitement it was creating so I decided to stop it and we’ll pick it up after the election. But this a normal process that has been around for 50 years," DeJoy said.
DeJoy said there are over 140,000 collection boxes in the US, and over the last 10 years, about 35,000 of them have been removed. He said the decision to remove boxes is a "data-driven method" where USPS looks at utilization of the post boxes, where they place new post boxes and where communities are growing.

With regards to sorting machines, DeJoy said USPS evaluates its machine capacity before deciding to move them.

"The mail volume, you know, is dropping very rapidly and especially during the Covid crisis. And package volume is growing, and when I spoke with the team — when this too became —got a lot of air play, we really are moving these machines out to make room to process packages. We still have hundreds of these machines everywhere and still not any kind of drain on the capacity, DeJoy said.

"I repeat, both the collection boxes and this machine closedown I was — I was made aware when everybody else was made aware," the postmaster general said.

And if this doesn't send chills down your spine, you are not paying attention.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/20/politics/trump-election-day-sheriffs/index.html

Trump pledges to send 'sheriffs' and 'law enforcement' to polling places on Election Day, but it's not clear he can

That he might not be able to do so is good news. That he will try to do so is unfortunate.

Now you can't even shoot unarmed Afghans if you're in the Aussie special forces lest there's a war crimes trial.

Seems like no big deal

Why are posts like these allowed to stand?

It’s a reminder that homicidal morons that burn all around them with blindness and self hatred they constantly project on to any they deem different from themselves are out there in droves and that some are armed and dangerous, not just bitter and senile like Kiid and Bambu.

So Obama was part of the conspiracy as well?

When you start with the words of a crook, your whole path is crooked.

It’s gotten all twisted around so you find yourself screwing yourself every time you open your mouth.

We need to bring back our sense of community. And one precious place was our parks.

When I was a kid, we used to hang out at Lane Park in Quartz Hill. We had a swimming pool there, and I went there for youth football practice. It was a cool park. When I was a teen I used to sneak out at night and go meet girls at Lane Park, it was great, we used to swim naked. Back in the old days the parks were cool.

Now the parks are just full of homeless people and drug addicts and alcoholics. The parks suck now. But, there is an effort to make the parks great again.

Disney has donated playground equipment for the parks, and the City of Anaheim is investing a ton of money into the parks, so hopefully we can have nice parks.

We have Pearson Park, and La Palma Park, both right by me, with another little park for the children, Juliana Park. Pearson Park has an amphitheatre, and La Palma Park has a baseball stadium and soccer fields, and I think La Palma Park has tennis courts, but I am not for sure, if not, then they should.

It would be cool if the people could enjoy the parks, instead of the parks just being full of homeless people.

And we need to get the homeless people into housing, and we need to help them. We also need to create jobs. California lost over 500,000 jobs to China alone, and we even lost jobs to Canada. There was a Chevy Camaro factory in Van Nuys, it was great, and it created real jobs, but the plant moved to Canada. And those jobs were not replaced, a shopping center with a movie theatre replaced the Chevy factory.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Nuys_Assembly

We need to bring back the Chevy factory, and we need to create other jobs.

We also depend on tourism, we need to build a high speed train between Anaheim and Las Vegas, and also we need to finish the California high speed rail.

And we can put statues in our parks, and we can have water fountains like Italy, we can have nice parks that the people can enjoy.

Salute,

Tony V.

https://www.thechronicle.com.au/news/white-people-should-give-up-their-homes/4079202/

A group of Black Lives Matter protesters in Seattle marched through a residential neighbourhood this week demanding[/b] that white residents give up their homes, dramatic video shows.

In this case, what is the right thing for the White people to do?

They should educate themselves on the history of the neighborhood, try to support black-owned businesses, and learn if deed theft occurred there
-- but they don't owe their homes to the previous occupants.  That's not how this works.  Those folks need to take their megaphones to the homes of those who are responsible.

Deed theft?
What is that, please.

Deed theft has become a common tool of career criminals and unscrupulous real estate developers to illegally obtain real estate so they can sell it at a huge profit in high-demand housing markets like Brooklyn. This illegal scheme especially affects people of color, the elderly, and other vulnerable homeowners who are being scammed into signing over the deeds to their homes to con artists. Deed theft usually happens when scammers forge deeds to look like they purchased the home, or when homeowners are tricked into signing their homes over to a scammer without knowing what they are doing. Scammers then seek to evict the homeowner and sell the house to a third party at a significant profit.

New York City received around 3,000 complaints about deed theft between 2014-2019, 45 percent of which came from Brooklyn. The Office of the Attorney General receives 3-4 reports of deed theft a week, predominantly from Brooklyn, Queens, Northern Manhattan, and The Bronx.

In addition to deed theft another tool that has been used to displace longtime residents of homes is called Third Party Transfer where co-op shareholders (residents of a building who collectively own and maintain the building) are informed that their properties are being repossessed due to them being in arrears on tax or water/sewer payments.  This disproportionately affects low income homeowners who tend to also be minority homeowners.
