If the law and order in your area is tied up with the bugaloo and the klan, and out of step and oppressive to the population, use the effective means at your disposal to create pressure for change.

It got the limeys out of India. We’ll keep it going till it gets cracker behaviors and mentalities out of the blue.

No one wants to die in RedWard’s sadist state of brutality, which is why you can’t find very many real people who agree with his fake polls.

Policing is a dangerous job and always will be. What of it? There is nothing to connect the shooting of - or rather at - the two DPS officers with the defund the police movement. Tbe motives of the 17 year old Hispanic kid who did the shooting have not been alleged, and by the circumstances, in that neighborhood, it is more likely drug related.

LOL!
The poll was conducted long before Thursday so your response to it was a non-response.
But then you knew that.
I was not responding to the polling, and the incident would be irrelevant to the polling even if it had happened a week earlier. But you knew that.
So you had no point.  It’s okay. It’s not the first time for you.
So we have your denial of a war on police and a mainstream poll showing a majority of Americans who believe there is.

You were citing a poll of opinions as somehow probative.   "This just in!  Ten million Italians favor Galileo's house arrest, and that sun still orbits Earth! "  Geocentric theory wins!

His point was that,  depending on certain facts,  there may be no actual war on police based on a defunding movement.   To debate that would require looking at criminal justice data,  not opinion polls.

Being deliberately dense doesn't win a debate.

That you do not understand how evidence works or what a poll represents.  Got it.

Neither a poll nor a single incident is evidence that a war on police exists unless you are willing to agree that recent polling that show a majority believes Trump is abetting violence and is making race relations worse establishes that h
Trump is abetting violence and making race relations worse. Both of those statements are true, but the polling is irrelevant to that.

And the anecdotal evidence you cite is not evidence of a war on police.

But you know these things and are just being your intellectually dishonest sealioning self.

Fires everywhere.

But not from the protests.

The efforts to change what the CDC said are disgusting.

The silence from the GOP leaders is more disgusting.

The silence from our Trump-supporting contingent is just business as usual.

And still more lies from Trump and Atlas:

Quote
“We’ll have manufactured at least 100 million vaccine doses before the end of the year, and likely much more than that,” he continued. “Millions of doses will be available every month, and we expect to have enough vaccines for every American by April.”

Those estimates are “based on the manufacturing that’s in process,” Trump said.

White House coronavirus adviser Scott Atlas said those individuals prioritized on the list include high-risk individuals and first responders.

"And so that by April, every single American who wants to be vaccinated will have the ability to be vaccinated. It is not a forced vaccination, of course," Atlas said.

Quote
Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told a Senate hearing that it would likely be the second or third quarter of next year – that means late spring or summer – before widespread vaccination could be underway in the US. Asked about this during a news conference later in the day, Trump said Redfield “made a mistake” and was “confused.”

Trump told reporters in today's White House news conference they think they can beat Redfield's number and timeline "very substantially."

But it's not just Redfield who is being contradicted.

Quote
The head of Operation Warp Speed, Dr. Moncef Slaoui, told NPR that he estimated about 20 to 30 million doses of a vaccine would be ready by the end of the year, far short of the 100 million doses that Mr. Trump said Wednesday. (The front-runner vaccines all require two doses, given several weeks apart, further complicating the process.)

Dr. Slaoui also recently said that Americans would most likely not be widely vaccinated until the middle of 2021, and that the chance of having a vaccine by October or November was “extremely unlikely.”

The first few months of a vaccine’s availability will limit access to high-risk groups like older people or health care workers and police officers.

Peter Lurie, president of the Center for Science in the Public Interest and a former F.D.A. official, said he thought it was not unreasonable to expect that the first batches for high priority groups could be ready by February — “if everything lines up. And the lesson of drug development is that everything hardly ever all lines up.”

Damn.   She really hung in there,  and I'm sure would have retired earlier if the Court had been different and impartial justice in less peril.   A tough old bird.

Well,  good thing Mitch sees a president's last year as lame duck season!   Let the people decide next year,  right Mitch?

Trump has always acted as a paid agent of a foreign power. None of his acts need to be considered official nor granted legal standing. Most of all this applies to appointments that extend beyond his tenure.
