Because of Trump's and Pence's stubborn refusal to accept science.

Nope

Because of Trump's and Pence's complete ineptitude?

More than 7.1 million people cast their vote in Texas, including the first 12 days of early voting, according to data posted on the Texas Secretary of State website Sunday morning.

That represents 42.31% of registered voters. In 2016 overall, 59.39% of registered voters voted.

This suggests they may be getting a huge turnout. If they finish early voting with almost as high a percentage as total votes in 2016, that would be amazing...

Good to see your 3rd grade level brain at work, pal.

Meadows said it.

You said it.

It's simply true - and even my 3rd grade level brain can recognize it. A shame that you cannot be honest, but it's nothing new, Kid.

3rd grade level brains all around the country recognize it and realize trump and his grift orgy are a terrible danger to their livelihoods and families.

This excludes the bulk (but not all) of registered republicans.

Early vote is breaking at about two for one toward Biden-Harris and away from plague and depression.

Exceeding 2016 vote totals in the 2020 early vote is a worthy and achievable goal.

It will make the tally a lot clearer a lot sooner.

He told CNN’s “State of the Union”: “We’re not going to control the pandemic. We are going to control the fact that we get vaccines, therapeutics.”

Exactly what they have done a great job with, yes.

NO!

Kiid is still faithfully paying a membership fee so he can get comped for special promotions at the Trump TajMahal. This includes courses at trump U, fresh trump steaks, matching donations from the trump foundation, and an expense paid weekend at the trump tower Moscow.

As far as Kiid is concerned, in trumpworld, things are going great. All the toilet seats are real gold.

The War Comes Home: The Evolution of Domestic Terrorism in the United States

Briefly:
Quote
White supremacists and other like-minded extremists conducted two-thirds of the terrorist plots and attacks in the United States in 2020, according to new CSIS data. Anarchists, anti-fascists, and other like-minded extremists orchestrated 20 percent of the plots and attacks, though the number of incidents grew from previous years as these extremists targeted law enforcement, military, and government facilities and personnel. Despite these findings, however, the number of fatalities from domestic terrorism is relatively low compared to previous years.

66% right wing extremists.
20% left wing extremists.

Just a few bad apples...

What would lead him to think that would either be okay or undiscovered by his bosses?!

Trump and his people never saw an agreement that they wouldn't break if they felt like it.

Before their Michigan rally (two days before the announcement of Trump's being covid-positive), they signed an agreement with their host city to keep it to 250 people.

When it blew past that, the city notified the campaign it was in violation and requested that the campaign fixt that.

They got no response and the campaign did nothing. Ultimately, it was estimated there were 2,500 people there.

Business as usual for Trump and is team.

The "law and order" president is full of shit.

Local cops should turn him back at the airport.

Mark Meadows’ inability to lie easily and smoothly about matters of life and death is costing trump dearly down the stretch.

Do republicans pull out of Texas to save Florida or Florida to save Texas?

They could dither and lose both.

Not all doom and gloom out there. This made me smile, from WaPo:

Quote
Elections office staffers prepared rigorously for the expected surge in mail-in and drop-off voting this fall: They renewed their training, learned the new rules, got masks and protective gear ready and adjusted their working hours.

But they were not prepared for the thank-you notes.

Tucked into the return envelopes with some ballots were handwritten missives from voters in Fairfax and Loudoun counties: “Thank you for what you do.” “Thanks for making my vote count.” A Halloween sticker or two also appeared.

WIP...

Francis, get ACB, Thomas, Alito, and “Beer” Kavanaugh into Stylite religious orders so they may leave behind their worldly distractions, resign their honors, and draw closer to God.
