I don't understand how Dems run a national campaign without ever mentioning W Bush.  You spend a week where all Dems talk about how the GOP puts up first Bush who crashed the economy, started an unnecessary war, supported torture.  And then they follow that up with another disastrous president in Trump, who leaves us with a quarter million dead of a Virus that not only hasn't been controlled but is spreading more than ever.

You hammer on the awfulness of W Bush and Trump and the total rot of the GOP (including voter suppression).  And after a week of getting that message out, then you trot out Obama to campaign for Biden.  And you talk about how Biden will have to fix the country and contain the virus, much as Obama/Biden had to fix the mess inherited from W Bush.

My point is you don't just run against Trump in isolation, but you remind folks how awful the GOP has been this century, and contrast with the normality and good the Dems do (health care, environment, growing the economy).

There's no need to muddy the waters with R and Indy voters who are pissed at Trump's incompetence (and maybe other reasons, like treason and corruption etc) and will vote against him, to help cleanse their souls over votes cast in 2016. And maybe some of those R and Indy voters liked "W" and bringing him up will reignite their Republican tendencies to vote R.

Bringing up Bush now is bad politics.

This election is about Trump and the deep damage he had done to this country.

Trump is the main course. (and maybe a side order of rotten Mitch McConnell's role in the hijacking of the Senate)

Let's get decency and competency back into th WH, and then maybe once some normalcy is restored to our democracy (and it may take a long time-Trump did a lot of damage) the corrosive and divisive policies of the Rep party can be explored at greater length.

KISS.

My role is to point out the idiocy of the regulars.
I don’t need to use ad hominems  like you, just highlight the absurdity of their so-called “ facts”.

"idiocy of the regulars" is an ad hominem.

So, this article says:Neanderthals And Humans Were at War For Over 100,000 Years, Evidence Shows

https://www.sciencealert.com/how-neanderthals-and-humans-battled-for-supremacy-for-over-100-000-years

But I think it's been longer than that. Just look at the evidence in this year's election.

Donald Trump finally figures it out:

This election is about him.

https://www.comicsands.com/grenell-slams-biden-mask-2019-2648602805.html

Grenell tried to slam Biden for not wearing his mask on a plane.

Biden was, in fact, not wearing a mask.

The year of the photo was 2019.

Over Mr. "I'd give him an A"?

Over the guy whose praises you have been singing daily for months, who did the best anybody could have with COVID-19?

Over the man who you have insisted did nothing wrong?!

Why would you pull for Biden? How can your family be better off without that paragon of wisdom?!
