Wait - we didn't really gain all those House seats, when some projected we would lose 12-15 or more?

I asked the security guy at the Kaiser hospital if those were morgue trucks parked out back.

He said, “No. They are trump towers. They’re here cause we’re great again, bigly.”

Why does she think this happened because she was black?

And did she leave anything out of the story?

The answer to your questions are 1. Yes and 2. The story was taken to court and charges were dropped so it would seem the facts are in.

Re where the fuck was the blue wave

This is my opinion-not a fact, for those who are easily confused.

IMO the

-idiotic idea-propaganda of "Police Defunding" (this was both a  self-inflicted wound and Repubs lieing about it)

-the Repubs portraying Dems as far-left socialists

-the murder and ensuing civil unrest in Philly in late October just days from the election

all probably played a large part in the Dems not getting the big blue wave many had anticiapted.

and some natural ticket-splitting to balance the anti-Trump votes were a part of it as well.

As discussed in this forum earlier this year, the strategy for the dems should have been to "go smart" versus "go big".

Stay away from social programs (medicare for all, free college, defund the police, green new deals etc) and economic reforms, or political reforms, so big as to scare away indy or potentially dem-leaners.  As posted WBW we are a 51-49 country.

stick to controlling corona virus, economic stimulus for the cities, small business and middle-class, infrastructure for jobs, eaffirm O-care in the midst of the pandemic, and and affirmation of the EPA to combat global warming should have been it.

Don't scare the shit out of the moderate middle to lean the wrong fucking way.

But the big tent party with so many voices has a tendency to shoots itself in the foot and sometimes the head.

Fraud is kid’s plan for 2022 and beyond. He gets all his ideas in droplet form from his higher ups. They are still telling him it’s raining.

Nearly 100K hospitalizations per day.
Amazing.
Might have to lower that Trump grade to a B+ ...

This is probably the first election in a long time that the winner got more votes than Did Not Vote.  Next step is trying to get more of the 33% who didn't vote to participate.  More mail-in and online voting would seem to be easy and able to increase the voting rate.

The thick blanket of trump losses extends beyond the courts, ballot boxes, and economy. It runs right through the hospital wards and refrigerated morgue trucks that are the defining symbol of his public disservice to the country.

We just might have a chance.

Aw, someone has you convinced trump can flip Georgia. You are so gullible it’s cute.

Cute because you have no teeth in your head, like a baby.

Comic.

No. You’re not comic. You’d be tragic if you had any arc to you. As your stupidity is a flatline (terminal stupidity some would call it) you are merely distasteful and banal.

This one isnt funny

Come on bro - know your role here

You’re not funny. You’re sick.

Fortunately you are too lame and unconvincing to be contagious, even with all the links to disinformation you incessantly post.

Why do you lie so transparently about the results of congressional elections?

Banks isn’t the only one who’d like to know.

He’s not kidding.

True believing brown shirt in waiting.

I think Red is on a payroll. He sometimes forgets who he is in which forum on whatever day.

IMHO

White folks bought the big scary black people are coming to rampage through our communities to burn, rape, loot, rape, pillage and rape!

Willie Horton Lives!

And the GOP knows it and the moderates indulge it.

No, Larry, you don't get it. You have no idea what moderates really think, because you are so entrenched in your own victimhood you too quickly embrace the left wing of the party and its non-marketable ideas.

NO "shame" on my part. I can reason logically without being encumbered by the emotional cross you willfully hoist upon your aging shoulders.

Election authorities in Georgia have opened investigations into progressive groups trying to sign up new voters in advance of twin January elections that will determine control of the U.S. Senate, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said on Monday.

Raffensperger, a Republican, said his office was examining registration efforts by America Votes, Vote Forward and the New Georgia Project. He said some groups had been encouraging people who lived outside Georgia to register to vote in the state.

"These third-party groups have a responsibility to not encourage illegal voting. If they do so, they will be held responsible," Raffensperger said.

Representatives of the organizations did not immediately respond to questions about the announcement.

Here's who America Votes is:   "The coordination hub of the Progressive Community".

https://americavotes.org/

Vote Forward
"Vote Forward is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to empower grassroots volunteers to help register voters from under-represented demographics and encourage them to vote. We build tools to enable Americans, wherever they may be, to encourage fellow citizens to participate in our democracy.

The project began as an experiment conducted by Scott Forman () in Alabama in 2017. Encouraged by the success of that test, Scott and a small group of friends and fellow Opower alumni built this platform to empower volunteers to take easy and effective action. We believe our democracy depends on everyone participating, so we volunteered our time and expertise to achieve that goal."
https://votefwd.org/

Scott J. Forman is a left-leaning political activist and software developer who is the founder and executive director of Vote Forward (Vote FWD), a Democratic Party-aligned voter registration and mobilization political action committee (PAC).https://www.influencewatch.org/person/scott-j-forman/

THE NEW GEORGIA PROJECT IS A NONPARTISAN EFFORT TO REGISTER AND CIVICALLY ENGAGE GEORGIANS.
Georgia’s population is growing and becoming increasingly diverse. Over the past decade, the population of Georgia increased 18%. The New American Majority – people of color, those 18 to 29 years of age, and unmarried women – is a significant part of that growth. The New American Majority makes up 62% of the voting age population in Georgia, but they are only 53% of registered voters.
https://newgeorgiaproject.org/about/

So is the Left trying to fix the vote? Or is the Republican Secretary of State trying to suppress the left's influence?

Stay tuned for more Georgia mayhem.

Meanwhile, here on Earth...

A good post, banks.

Clearly, Rabbi Larry doesn't get it.

Maybe maybe not.

He might get it, like kid with his sudden concern for covid, might get some of it, but people get locked into their own bullshit-propaganda and can't admit they might have been mistaken.

so they make the same mistake again, and wonder what went wrong.

knicks was warned months ago dems should not scare moderate and indy voters but he insisted America had changed and it was the time to GO BIG.

It wasn't.

He was so convinced that America reached a kumbaya moment.

We didn't.

He didn't get it then.

I don't know if he gets it now.

Give the Repubs credit they got a lot of mileage and votes from defund  the police and socialism and the greening-AOCing of Anerica.

A lot of America was scared of Trump and the possibility of GO BIG Dem-socialists

and some might have been afraid of Willie Horton moving into the suburbs

but I really don't think Willie was an issue in this election

this might have been more about fears of a small Latinx women from the Bronx.
