Nice bit of fiction.
1) Trump lies more frequently about more things in a month than Mika can be shown to have done in her television career.
2) Trump's casual lies injure the country as well as individuals within the country to a far grosser extent than the worst lie told by a media member --
any media member -- ever.
3) He is a public official. She is a member of the media. While she should not be lying, his doing so, which you are so eager to excuse by saying "but what about her?!" is far worse in its basic nature.

4) She was reporting a story from elsewhere. The lie, if it were a lie, is not hers. But as it turns out, it wasn't a lie, at all.

The GOP has been screaming about conspiracy theories everywhere they are losing (or at risk of losing) because all the ballots are being counted.
Oddly enough, the Democratic Party candidates who are in identical positions are making no such claims.
