45 sniffles. Dr. Ron Jackson must be back with the Adderall.

Side effects include nervousness, dizziness, and restlessness.

Often prescribed with Conspiracy to Defraud the United States and executive (sniff, sniff) time.

Children separated from their ["illegal immigrant"] families?
Very sad.
Whose fault is it, in reality?
Who put the children in a position where it could happen?

If only the families had stayed home.

Yeah!

If they'd stayed home, they'd be dead.

Much better from your perspective.

Asshole.

Trump also had a large hotel project in Baku Azerbaijan, where his foreign partners were described by the US State Dept as "notoriously corrupt, even for Azerbaijan"  -- some Azeri gov't officials with ties to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/03/13/donald-trumps-worst-deal

It seems likely bribery and corruption and money laundering was a big part of the scheme, and the Trump Org didn't seem to care.  The article really suggest violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

The building never opened and last April suffered a major fire.  Shady stuff.

---Pope and grand imam sign historic pledge of fraternity in UAE---

Rome, Italy · July 20, 1933

representatives of German President Paul von Hindenburg and Pope Pius XI (1922–1939), among them Vatican Secretary of State Eugenio Pacelli (later Pope Pius XII), announced that a concordat (treaty) had been forged between the Holy See and the German Reich.

History repeats. If there is a meglo  serial killer beginning his career a Pope will find him and congratulate him.

Maison des Animaux.

Redweird, I agree with NA that this isn't really a 4th amendment issue.  When the President doesn't jettison his business enterprises, the public has every right to know if there are conflicts of interest.  I refer you to the Post article, which addressed this.
Not only no but HELL NO!

December of 2018 in the liberal DC Circuit.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on Tuesday upheld a ruling dismissing an attempt to overcome IRS privacy rules to acquire President Donald Trump’s tax returns through a public-records lawsuit.

The Electronic Privacy Information Center attempted to use a Freedom of Information Act request to get the president’s tax returns, which he has withheld citing a pending Internal Revenue Service audit. Legal experts contend nothing prohibits the president from releasing his tax returns.

The panel on Tuesday said all government records are presumed public under FOIA unless specifically exempted. The panel added the Internal Revenue Code specifically exempts individual taxpayers’ tax returns. That code was passed after President Richard Nixon attempted to use the IRS to harass political opponents.

“This case presents the question whether a member of the public—here, a nonprofit organization—can use a FOIA request to obtain an unrelated individual’s tax records without his consent,” D.C. Circuit Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson wrote for the panel. “With certain limited exceptions—all inapplicable here—the answer is no. No one can demand to inspect another’s tax records. And the IRC’s confidentiality protections extend to the ordinary taxpayer and the President alike.”

Henderson wrote: “Because EPIC requested only records that are in fact exempt from FOIA, however, we affirm on the merits the dismissal of the three FOIA claims.”

The unanimous panel also included Judges Patricia Millett and Harry Edwards.

FOIA has nothing to do with the Committee Access provision of 1924.  Which, unlike FOIA, doesn't exempt any individuals tax returns.  As you perfectly well knew, Congress can access things the general public cannot.  Less than brilliant attempt to change the subject and obfuscate with an irrelevant decision.  Thanks for the citation.
Congress has no power to make public IRS files of anyone.
Period.

Yes, Congress has that power.

First step would be acquiring the tax returns, which the “President” has no right to keep from House Ways and Means.

Then if the committee finds info they believe to be of public interest they can vote to release them to the public. If the larger House then votes to release them, they are released.

Which is exactly the scenario that has Republicans so concerned. Question remains:  what are they so afraid of?

Two reactions:
a) Yay!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, wait, what? Just for the speech? Dang!

Nixon also used his last SOTU speech to call for an end to the investigations of him, so if history is our guide...

Among polled registered voters, 63 percent say that House Democratic leadership in the next session of Congress should be allowed to publicize the president's tax returns, while 37 percent say it shouldn't.

Less than the poll before Trump was elected in 2016.

Nancee is so senile. The leader of the liberal elites wants no border and welcomes all crying babies and their extended families from around the globe.
