Trump vows mass immigration arrests, removals of ‘millions of illegal aliens’ starting next week

President Trump said in a tweet Monday night that U.S. immigration agents are planning to make mass arrests starting “next week,” an apparent reference to a plan in preparation for months that aims to round up thousands of migrant parents and children in a blitz operation across major U.S. cities.

“Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States,” Trump wrote, referring to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. “They will be removed as fast as they come in.”

Yes, 'turn back the boats'...or in this case people without boats.

It's the only way...to have an immigration system with integrity.

The US govt must be deciding "who comes to this country"...and "the manner in which they come".

We have laws for immigration control that the president alone does not have the power to change.

He is a lawless creepy fuck so this is exactly the type of idiotic misery inducing move he tends to make and that the lower invertebrates with internet access tend to applaud.

That said, if they send some Aussies back to the decaying hellscape that spawned them I won’t be too broken up about it.

Immigrant rights are human rights. Australian rights are conditional on good behavior.

Who wants seriously criminal immigrants staying in their country after their prison sentences have been completed?
Not many...so back from whence they came they go.

Good behaviour...passing all the tests, and being in possession of a correct visa;

https://www.watoday.com.au/national/western-australia/perth-grandmother-faces-deportation-despite-living-in-australia-for-over-a-decade-20190606-p51vcd.html

A grandmother who has lived in Australia for over a decade with her family has been threatened with deportation back to her home country.

Mollie Manley, 93, moved to Perth from Somerset in the United Kingdom 11 years ago so she could be with her family, which included her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ms Manley was allowed into the country on a temporary bridging visa while her aged-parent visa was processed.
At the time of her application, which can sometimes take a number of years to be completed and accepted, she had passed all relevant medical tests.

However in recent years, Ms Manley became blind and is now living in an aged-care facility.
As a result, the Australian migration authorities deemed she was “too much of a burden” on the national healthcare system to be granted a visa.

They formally denied her visa earlier this year, but her family have not informed the 93-year-old of the decision.
Her family members told Nine News Perth it would be a mistake to deport the elderly woman, as she has no remaining family in the UK.

“She has no family in the UK whatsoever, her husband died in the 1980s and she was living alone in the UK. If she goes back, she will have no family support,” son-in-law Robert Rowe said.
“She’s 93, it’s unlikely that she is going to live in her present state for very long ... we’re just asking them to show a bit of compassion and allow her to stay and live out her life.”

---And Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), a close ally of the administration, urged the president to attack Iran outright — adding that he didn’t need permission from Congress. “Unprovoked attacks on commercial shipping warrant a retaliatory military strike," Cotton told Brennan. “The president has the authorization to act to defend American interests,” he said.---

McConnell bought the Green New Deal to the Senate Floor and the democrats punted.
Now McConnell is avoiding possible campaign issues and you are surprised?

Oh, bullshit! McConnell even admitted it was a “Show vote.” How you gonna hold a vote on important legislation without a hearing?

Dems voted present as to say, “yeah we were here to witness this clown show but we ain’t with it.”

Surprised? The McConnell would not bring up in the Senate legislation that might negatively impact his party's hold 9n power? Fuck no, I am not surprised?

You know, Josh, I can live with having to use an alternate id but why the Hell do I have to keep doing captcha before each post?

McConnell is not refusing to bring up House bills that raise campaign issues.  He is refusing to bring up House bills.

It has been a hallmark of McConnell's "leadership" that he fundamentally does not recognize the right of a political party that is not Republican to govern and follow through on the will of the American voters.  He has been so consistent on that point, it is laughable that someone might excuse it as avoiding election year controversy.  Unless you have been completely asleep the last ten years.

It has to be said, it is Joe Biden's belief that he can "shame" McConnnell into governing for the people not party that , if he really believes it, is one of the most disqualifying aspects of his candidacy.  You are talking about a guy who smiled and sipped from his drink as he told a group of people that he scammed America on Garland.

Barr's DOJ intervenes for Manafort to keep him our of Rikers:

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/17/nyregion/manafort-rikers.html

Manafort will be getting a pardon.

Manafort lied to Mueller, very probably one of the factors that prevented Mueller from proving conspiracy charges.

The "rule of law" GOP will say nothing to object to this obviously corrupt obstruction of justice because like the man that leads them in the Senate they are completely shameless.
