People keep posting on Facebook that if people violate our laws by coming to America illegally, then they broke our laws, and so because they are lawbreakers then families should be separated and children should be put in cages, etc, and that we should not have any sympathy because they are lawbreakers. It is all bullshit.
In an nation of the people, by the people, for the people, it is we the people who make the laws, and we need to change the laws to reflect who we are as Americans. We do not need to go to the Queen of England to change our laws, we can do it ourselves. And we need to change our laws to make our immigrants legal, like President Reagan did. We need to make our immigrants legal so that they can come out of the shadows and so that they can call the police in the case of an emergency, and so that they can join labor unions, etc. And we need to make it to where future immigrants can easily become legal, and stay legal, especially our good Christian neighbors from here in the Western Hemisphere.
I am against separating families, and I am against putting children in cages. And I support making our immigrants legal, like President Reagan did. We need to fix our broken immigration laws to reflect who we are as Americans.
And the most important law is the Golden Rule; to treat other people the same way that you wish to be treated. We also have the Bible, and in the New Testament God's commandment is for us to love our neighbors.
People also think that the immigrants are coming here for free welfare, etc, which is all bullshit, and ICE has been busting immigrants at their places of employment, processing food, etc, the immigrants are out there working hard to take care of their families, etc, and the ICE agents are busting them at work, it is all a bunch of bullshit.
We need to fix our broken laws, and people who justify locking children in cages by saying "Their parents broke the law" make me sick. I wish we could take the immigrants, and kick out the haters.
Salute,
Tony V.
