Average poll Clinton vs Trump had the election finishing (using margin of error) anywhere between Trump by 2.8 and Clinton by NINE POINT TWO.

NBC News (Clinton +7) had it OUTSIDE the margin of error - in favor of Clinton.

Yes, please believe the current polls

You use the term "average poll" then follow that up with a range that included wild outliers.

Polling average was Clinton +3 and she ended up getting +2 in the popular vote.  As I stated already, most polls right before the election had it between +2 and +4, the NBC News poll you cite had it at +5.

Polling had Obama up by less than +1 in 2012, he ended up winning by almost +4.

But then its well known that people lie about supporting him.

And by the way - be prepared for the popular voting to once again be in favor of the loser.  Very well may happen.

Trump is counting on it.

Further, if you go back just a few days before the election, polling average actually understated Clinton's winning margin.

There was no significant under counting of Trump's support at the national level in 2016.  And the results from 2018 do not suggest that polling showing Trump as historically unpopular now are incorrect.

He is an extreme Right-wing "president" whose policy positions are unpopular and turn off a majority of voters.

This Alan Jones seems like a properly ignorant moron. Was he repeatedly kicked or kneed in the head at some point in his life?

Nah...he has a brilliant mind.

What he meant to say was that PM Morrison should tell NZ PM Ardern to "put a sock in it" [her mouth], a common expression downunder...meaning to "stop saying it".

As for 'Juliar" ['there will be no carbon tax under the govt I lead"...then after the election introduced a carbon tax]...the chaff bag in the ocean metaphor or whatever [no one was really meaning for that to happen] was acceptable to many people.

About time someone from Australia said it.
No 1 radio host did, if clumsily.
Morrison is far too nice, and has no real idea what's required.
The People who elected him are demanding what he promised at the election [which he only just won]...cheaper electricity, only achievable by building new coal-fired power stations [Australians pay the highest energy prices in the world, thanks to all the 'climate change' drivel demanding 'renewables now'.]
No sign of new coal fired power stations being approved/built, and no sign of new dams being built.
Morrison is for the high jump if he doesn't do what he promised.
Radio callers are already calling him a 'charlatan'.

http://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/way-out-of-line-scott-morrison-slaps-down-alan-jones-after-the-radio-host-said-the-pm-should-shove-a-sock-down-the-throat-of-jacinda-ardern-in-row-over-climate-change/ar-AAFR0GE?li=AAgfYrC&OCID=AVRES000

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has slammed Alan Jones after the radio presenter said he should 'shove a sock' down the throat of New Zealand leader Jacinda Ardern.
Mr Morrison stepped out of a meeting with leaders at the Pacific Islands Forum in Tuvalu on Thursday to say the 2GB presenter's comments were 'way out of line'.
Jones took to the airwaves to call Ms Ardern a 'lightweight' and a 'clown' following her comments on global warming at the forum on Wednesday.

Pressure has mounted for Australia to reduce its emissions with Ms Ardern warning the Australian government they would 'have to answer to the Pacific'.

#####

Morrison looks ridiculous with that bunch of flowers on his head.
Imagine Trump doing that.

Only women should wear those...men should have a fighter jet or nuke bomb cap.

Under the glaring outer rot of the misadministration, layers of inner rot fester and grow.

Here’s one just coming to light,

I would've been more diplomatic...you know, 'play the flute or play the harp' depending where I am.

"The lovely Ms Ardern is seriously misguided".
"She's living in cuckooland if she thinks Australia will be giving the 'Pacific' $500m for climate change".
"Climate change is not Australia's fault. Australia's carbon emissions are miniscule in the scheme of things."

Morrison didn't give them the $500m.
Tuvalu is not sinking into the sea, has not sunk one inch.

No 1 radio host today; [reading from an email a politician sent him overnight.]
"Perhaps NZ PM Ardern would like to explain what she's going to do about the 40 million tons of CO2 emitted yearly by the cattle and sheep herds in NZ."

"The 5 coal-fired power stations in NSW only emit 8million tons of CO2 pa."
"China will be increasing its carbon emissions from coal fired power stations by 140million tons this year."
"She should go and make China answerable."

No matter whom the Democrats nominate for president, the message and policies of The Squad will make up the heart of the nominee's platform. This is a disaster for the Democrats and a gift to the GOP, which is fighting to reassure educated suburban voters to stick with them. Sure, they may not love Trump's behavior or rhetoric on some issues, but they'll take a good economy and secure border over socialism, higher taxes and open borders any day.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/19/opinions/squad-is-a-gift-to-trump-jennings/index.html

I always love to see GOP analysis that pretends the 2018 vote never happened.  Please!  Continue to ignore it.

I suppose maybe the point here is that Republicans should misrepresent the positions of their opponents on healthcare and immigration in order to win elections, but I’m pretty sure they tried that in 2018 too.
Also have to laugh at this notion that anchoring a Democratic candidate to the extreme left of their party is a consideration that is unique to that side of the aisle.

The “president” and head of your party has a roughly 42% approval rating despite that “good economy,”

Its not being reported as a good economy

And voters polled arent being totally honest, as you know.

Explained it in '16.  Explains it now
It has been reported everywhere as a good economy. Honestly reported, which means pointing out the characteristic "greatest ever" Trumpian claims are bull shit and pointing out signs of.potential weakness, as now.

Pollsters are fully aware of and account for.the Bradley effect. That is why all the major polls in 2016 had Clinton's popular vote win within the margin of error.

NBC had Clinton + 4 in its most immediate pre-election polling.  The largest margin she had was with Monmouth, +.6, which was within that poll's MOE, provided you understand how those work.

Give a lot of people a penny so you can say they were all complicit when you rob the treasury on behalf of scammers and ne’er do wells in the very top brackets.

The logic works on chumps and stooges, Red’s bosom companions on the road to tyranny by pure fraud.
