Why one should question "49%" ----

https://apnews.com/1ad13f32984a4480a45738ead2b4c0d8

NEW YORK (AP) — About 6 in 10 Americans disapprove of President Donald Trump’s overall job performance, according to a new poll released Thursday by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, which finds some support for the president’s handling of the U.S. economy but gives him weak marks on other major issues.

Just 36% of Americans approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president; 62% disapprove.

The numbers may be ugly for a first-term president facing reelection in 14 months, but they are remarkably consistent. Trump’s approval rating has never dipped below 32% or risen above 42% in AP-NORC polls since he took office.

No other president has stayed within so narrow a band. Since Gallup began measuring presidential approval, Trump is the only president whose rating has never been above 50%. Still, several — Harry Truman, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush — logged ratings worse than Trump’s lowest rating so far at some point during their time in office.

Trump’s poor grades in the AP-NORC poll extend to his handling of several key issues: immigration, health care, foreign policy and guns. Views of the Republican president’s handling of the economy remain a relative bright spot despite fears of a potential recession, but at least 60% of Americans disapprove of his performance on other issues. The consistency suggests the president’s weak standing with the American people is calcified after two years of near-constant political crises and divisive rhetoric at the White House....

So its done then

Just pick a Dem and we move on

How predictable:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/22/media/sarah-sanders-fox-news/index.html

Not only confirmed that she is someone who lies for the "president" but also confirmed that Trump Administration officials sign NDAs that extend past their employment there.

Standard

Yes, Trump officials signing on with Fox, or vice-versa, is standard for this Administration.  Like I said, this was predictable.

And, like I said, this reflects poorly on Fox.  Also reflects poorly on this Administration.

The news of Sanders joining Fox News comes a day after ABC announced that Sean Spicer, her predecessor as White House press secretary, had been picked as a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars." Spicer's selection sparked outrage, and even angered some staffers inside ABC News.

Now this is funny

Standard

No its sub-standard.

The news network that calls itself fair and balanced is so tilted to one-side as to make it all but meaningless as an objective or reliable news source.

Fox is really nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Trump and right wing politics.

And no, the NDAs are not standard. They are a Trump thing, thinking he can run a public office like he ran his business.

Fox hiring a person who may be legally obligated to not tell the truth has nothing to do with Fox...

Mind boggling.

Huh.  The Stand Your Ground law could be abused by someone who should be going to jail for murder?

Who would have thought?

A funny story about Mother Teresa, she went to go help the poor, but when she got there she ended up poor too, so she was out there begging while among the people who she was there to help. Eventually of course, she succeeded, and she helped many people during her lifetime.

Salute,

Very dissimilar. Trump fires everyone who disagrees except family.

Whoa..... eaaaaaasy now.

Note the lack of counter-examples, just complaining.

The 49% Trump approval is what to him was "suspect"  - which to Josh is another way of saying "dont post that pro Trump shit around here!"

Heh

I'd say it's BIDEN central around here but

a)  nobody here wants to admit they support/like Joe
b)  Joe hasnt really taken the reins, has he?

a) a poll showing Trump has 49% approval is suspect, yes.  We've covered it well here why that is.

b) Biden is not my preferred candidate.  His current lead is name recognition, "electability" and the hope that he would return the country to the normalcy of teh Obama Administration after four years of the US being run by an incompetent buffoon.  While those numbers may hold, I'm not sure that all of those reasons are valid.

Yeah. Who wants a candidate that could get elected and return us to normalcy? Typical of the extreme let of the Democratic Party.

Normalcy = "acceptable" levels of sexism.

Got it.

Mam Jill has said she has taken care of this issue.

"Let them come up to YOU, Joe"

Yeah - that oughta do it.

heh

Won't solve problems like yesterday's, Kid.

Standard

Got any evidence that any prior president ever required such? Not even Nixon.

So, no - not standard. Paranoid and problematic.

They signed her, despite that.

It's about Trump, about Sanders, and about Fox.
