Four years of trump misadministration has lead to a massive spike in murder and domestic violence that has yet to abate. While trump walks free there is a good argument to be made that sleazy crime does pay. That has wider social ramifications than even the typical republican spreading of misery and distrust.

This Waukesha guys comment suggests a break from reality consistent with mental illness.  His mother notes that he lacked insurance and could not keep taking his meds.

Because in America we lock you up before trial and conviction and the 8th Amendment is optional.

I should also note.Red.does not seem to grasp that mental health care in the community might keep people like that out of jail 8n the first place.

Not quite following the argument - are KidnRed saying the system should have foreseen the guy would drive into a parade and so set bail higher?   And that the DAs lack of a crystal ball was due to BLM?   Someone needs to sue their school district, as LB would say.

Worth noting that the most likely reason for the low bail was COVID and jail population.
