All the rest of the votes pertaining to djt’s sad little life will be 12-0 against. We get to burn down the political careers of 43 avowed traitors sitting in the senate. 12 seat swing as the cowards wash out in 2022.

Congratulations, kid.

I can't wait til Mitch gets to the rationale behind his vote to acquit.

Ahhhh....too bad

TEN votes short

More members of the impeached president's party than have ever voted to convict before.

Landmark result that you want to ignore.

Those who voted against conviction will be unable to ignore it at least as much as those who voted for it among the GOP will be unable to. Probably more.

I think you will see civil suits filed against Trump for the deaths of some of the three police that you don't seem to care about, just this once.

Only a majority - don't even need 12-0.

Listening to Mitch you'd think he voted to convict.

It seems he agrees with the charges and the President's dangerous actions should have been punished

But apparently there was a misplaced oxford comma in the House papers!

Ms Gabbard, who says Pelosi is a leader?

Who?

Heh.   And Pelosi had nothing to do with attendance restriction.   That's determined by the House Sergeant at Arms.   And Attending Physician.

The problem was Mitch told his caucus that their vote was a matter of conscience.

He doesn't have one and unfortunately, they didn't know what he was talking about.

I understand that DC is planning on filing charges.

Republicans have placed themselves fully beyond the protection of the law. We are at the beginning of a great project to eradicate every last vestige of republican culture along with every other fascist power base that infects our political landscape.
