Disturbing (again) that people dwell so much on the behavior of scared, sometimes high, sometimes young and foolish, people when the whole point of police training is to handle volatile situations and not escalate them, IOW to serve and PROTECT all citizens. When being unprofessional in a job means an offended customer or botched shipment, the stakes aren't so high, and people can be allowed a mistake. But when being unprofessional means someone's death, then training and screening can't be undertaken lightly or rushed through.
