So Rittenhouse,  after he shot dead others in the street in a state where he did not live, and while being out after the curfew they had imposed to limit violence, is actually pulled aside by police and counseled to hurry up and head home, to leave the scene so he would be safe and avoid consequence.

This whole situation neatly sums up why so many people were there protesting for BLM in the first place.  You conservatives who claim you want law and society to be colorblind, think for a minute on how police would respond to a black teenager doing what Rittenhouse did.   Run that little movie in your head.   Make an honest effort here.

Anyway, now that Ritt has been exonerated, several GOP members of Congress are offering him internships in their offices in DC right now.  Fascinating.  Has he written essays on tax policy and the role of government, or is it maybe something else? We may never know!

Broader point is people will start looking at other cases,  past and pending,  where the self defense law is applied or not applied,  and ask if it is applied equitably, and leading to verdicts that offer some semblance of justice.

I think the rational take away is don't attack armed vigilantes who are threatening you and your community with skateboards, but rather shoot the SOBs, as is your right under Wisconsin law.

There are crazy people who want a race war in the USA.

In my hometown there was the case of 2 children fighting on a playground, it was a white child and a black child fighting and the black child fell and hit his head on the cement and died. It was a tragic event.

Louis Farrakhan said that there must be justice for the black child, and he came to the Antelope Valley and he called for a race war. Instead of wanting to bring the children up to the level of good civilized adults who do not handle situations with violence, Farrakhan was trying to bring everyone down to the level of children fighting on a playground, and he called for a race war.

There was an Italian-American in town, Frank Visco, and I guess Frank Visco had a private talk with Louis Farrakhan, and then Louis Farrakhan left town and the race war never happened.

Some scumbags who do not have real jobs would love to see a race war happen. It is up to the civilized adults to keep the peace, and to remind people that in America all men are equal.
