THE GREAT GOLDEN MINOTAUR, #1
    Donald Trump, the Great Golden Minotaur, convened a meeting in the Oval Office last week in an attempt to construct some sort of coherent foreign policy vis-a-vie Venezuela. Invited were a number of Trump’s most loyal retainers, including Vice President Mike (Dumb as a Fence Post) Pence and Trump’s Chief of Staff-Mick (The Dick) Mulvaney (A.K.A. the Pin-head Twins), along with Sec. of State Mike (Porky) Pompeo (not pictured due to space constraints).
   The meeting began with a light-hearted discussion about how Lindsey Graham appears to have lost his mind, after which the so-called President of the United States offered a suggestion that we Nuke somebody ‘down there’. This idea was quickly tabled, after which the discussion began to descend into chaos.
    Porky Pompeo announced that he had to leave in order to attend a diplomatic luncheon at the Saudi embassy, while nobody else seemed to be able to get Donald Trump to stop mumbling about the ’tremendous’ Big Mac sandwich that he was planning to eat for lunch that day (nobody else was invited to stay to eat). On their way out of the Oval Office the Pin-head Twins noticed that several members of the Trump Crone Brigade (led by Kellyanne Conway) had glided into the room to lay down protective plastic sheets to protect the desk and carpeting before Trump began to chow down.
     In the end, everyone else in the United States was left to try and guess just what in the hell we we trying to do in Venezuela—(as if what what was happening in this sovereign nation was any of our business in the first place).

Happy Cinco de Mayo, AMERICA!

On this day the outmatched Mexican Army kicked the shit out of France’s expeditionary army at the Battle of Puebla.

France under Napoleon III was trying to establish a foothold for their empire in Mexico and a victory on this day would have put them far along the road to success.

France would have provided support for the Confederacy if they had taken this battle. Instead they had to concentrate on dispatching the Mexicans which was easier said then done. France couldn’t divert resources for the Southerners and the Union was able to eventually grind down the Confederacy.

So when you’re imbibing copious amounts of Mexican centric beverages and indulging in Mexican cuisine, both authentic and ersatz, remember this is NOT Mexican Independence Day.

This is the day MEXICO helped save the Union and preserve the United States of America!

Americans sold cocaine to our own people to fund wars in Latin America. And whenever people have to be shady about something, or do something illegal to achieve their means, then you know it is not right.

Flooding our cities with cocaine which they made into crack, to fund wars. It was all bullshit. And in the wars, there were Americans supporting both sides. So people were dying, and we were helping to support both sides against each other, and people were selling cocaine to our people to support the carnage.

People still sell drugs to pay for weapons, etc. The FARC and the ELN in Colombia are both funded by cocaine. Just like the Muslim terrorists are funded by heroin, and like the Mexican cartels are funded by meth, etc.

The illegal drugs are all bad, and when you do illegal drugs then you are supporting some bad people who do bad things. Seriously, just say no.

And on the issue of the French, the French always supported the Americans. And we should have supported King Louis XVI, King Louis supported the Americans against England, and France went broke helping the Americans.

Whomp. Far from encouraging Mueller to testify, Trump is saying Mueller won’t. No “redo’s” for the Democrats.

You can’t call testimony clarifying the reports conclusions a “redo” unless you and your Attorney General have been lying about what those conclusions were...surely that’s not what has been happening, right?

Trump, according to REDSTATEWARD, does not have the power to prevent Mueller from testifying.  Let’s see how that works out.
