No-one claims that there were more than 100 farm murders in 2017, a year in which the South African police recorded more than 19,000 murders in the country as a whole. Most of those victims, of course, are black.

According to Gareth Newham, head of Justice and Violence Prevention at the internationally-respected Institute for Security Studies in Pretoria, there has been a 40 per cent increase in all kinds of armed attacks since 2012 — hold-ups of armoured security vans, home and business invasions, street muggings.

This is a bizarre claim in and of itself, and shows how worried Trump is over this particular bit of Obstruction of Justice evidence.

But even more bizarre, Trump is claiming "Lester Holt got caught" doing this.  What?  This is total dementia.  No such thing happened.  He is either 100% deluded, or he is passing on an outrageous lie by taking it to the next step to convince his devoted followers who of course would have no reason to follow it up.

This isn't normal folks.  We need to make sure this kind of shit is not normalized.
