Wages of workers are UP considering
1.5 million who were unemployed in July of 2016 now have jobs reducing the unemployment rate from 5 percent then to 3.9 percent now.

Lol. REDSTAREWARD doesn’t know what “wages” means.

Shut it, spambu. Read it and weep, bigot:

The scene inside the house was chaos. A door broken with an axe. Blood everywhere.
And in the bedroom, his parents lying together, their hands tied, their throats slit, the cord of an iron tied around his mother's neck.
Her body was still warm.

"My father always said, 'It's not if, it's when'," says Jo-an Engelbrecht, standing where he found the bodies.
"He knew it's coming," he says, tears choking his words.
"We all know it's coming. It's just a question of when."

The man on stage is Julius Malema, a former ANC youth leader, now the self-styled Commander-in-Chief of the EFF.
Expelled from the ANC in 2012 after being convicted of hate speech, Malema recklessly sets race against race.

At the end of almost every speech, he breaks into an old ANC war-song: "We have taken our land back! Shoot to kill!"

CEOs' wages up.

Employees' wages down.
That’s absurd, nevermind that EPI Is a left wing mouthpiece for Big Labor.
Wages of workers are UP considering
1.5 million who were unemployed in July of 2016 now have jobs reducing the unemployment rate from 5 percent then to 3.9 percent now.

Listening to you attack the source is pretty funny. Listening to you attack the source when you have no actual data about income with which to challenge it is even funnier.

Their data comes from Compustat’s ExecuComp database, the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Current Employment Statistics data series, and the Bureau of Economic Analysis NIPA tables.

Which one of those would you like to claim is bogus? Or perhaps you would like to claim the determination is bogus, without so much as a counter-calculation. You know, flex those mathematical chops of which you seem so proud.

In July, 2016, the Civilian non-institutional population was 253,620,000.
In July, 2018, the Civilian non-institutional population was 257,843,000, an increase of ~1.67%

July 2016: Civilian labor force was 159,295,000
July 2018: Civilian labor force was 162,245,000

July 2016: Employed - 151,546,000
July 2018: Employed - 155,965,000

The number of people who were not in the labor force and were not listed as wanting a job:
July 2016: 88,433,000
July 2018: 90,435,000

The number of folks no longer seeking a job increased by 2 million, Red, or roughly 2.26%. It grew faster than our population, faster than our work force, which grew at about 1.85%, and just below our number employed, 2.92%.

The percentage of our population that is not working grew from 34.86% to 35.07%.

The inflation rate for July was 2.4% (without food and energy). It has increased monthly for four of the last five months. July 2018 had the highest monthly inflation rate since September of 2008. With food and energy, it was 2.9% (highest since mid-2011).

I hear you whistling in the graveyard, Red.

But that's what it is - and you whistle off key.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-07-31/south-african-farm-murders/10013298

As ever, did you bother to read your own link, Bambu?

Quote
No-one claims that there were more than 100 farm murders in 2017, a year in which the South African police recorded more than 19,000 murders in the country as a whole. Most of those victims, of course, are black.

According to Gareth Newham, head of Justice and Violence Prevention at the internationally-respected Institute for Security Studies in Pretoria, there has been a 40 per cent increase in all kinds of armed attacks since 2012 — hold-ups of armoured security vans, home and business invasions, street muggings.

"We have a real problem with violence," Newham says.

"And so for us, sitting in South Africa looking at these 19,000 murders — suddenly there's international attention on the murders of white farmers, it just seems completely disproportionate.

The low figure presented was "47 farm murders in the past 12 months — the lowest figure for 19 years."
The high figure presented was "84 farm murders that we could verify, and by that we mean we have the actual names of the people who were murdered."
******

But, Bambu? That's all farm murders, either way, not murders of white farmers, only!

Back to your link:
Quote
In recent months, thanks largely to publicity drives by well-funded Afrikaner pressure groups like AfriForum, there has been an international outcry about the killing of white farmers in South Africa.

Right-wing websites and radio shock jocks in the United States, and in parts of Europe, talk freely about "genocide". The term has been echoed by fringe politicians in Australia.

There is no genocide, Bambu. There is white nationalist propaganda which, as I noted before, you have swallowed wholesale.

More? Sure - still from your article:
Quote
On a bare hillside near Polokwane, in South Africa's Limpopo Province, stand more than 2,000 white crosses.

From the air, they can be seen to form a giant cross.

At the top of the hill, in huge letters visible from the highway a kilometre away, are the words Plaas Moorde— Afrikaans for "farm murders".

Each cross represents someone murdered in the course of a farm attack since 1994. The private landowner who owns the site has added 75 crosses in the past 12 months.

2,000 crosses in 24 years. Even if we take the word of a man who puts crosses up on his private farm for a dead farmer (again, not a dead white farmer), that's 83.33 per year, one of the slowest genocides around.

There are more murders in two days in South Africa than that rate sees in a year.

Here is a non-governmental analysis of the problem in South Africa. I know, I know, those damned scientists can't be trusted! But nonetheless:

White farmers have been slaughtered/tortured to death in South Africa [we'll come to other countries in Africa in a moment]for years...fact.
People call it genocide...they could just be correct.

Wonder how many Black farmers have been torture-murdered?

Well, that took less than 24 hours...

https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/29/politics/ron-desantis-andrew-gillum-attack/index.html

And just in case you thought DeSantis deserved the benefit of the doubt (as if there is anything in the history of Republican Candidates blurting out racist things that would make you do that) there is this:

https://american-ledger.com/accountability/desantis-moderates-hate-filled-facebook-group-that-attacks-african-americans-parkland-survivors-and-muslims/

Ron DeSantis, the Trump-endorsed congressman who won Tuesday’s GOP primary for Florida governor, is an administrator on an active Facebook group where conservatives share racist, conspiratorial and incendiary posts about a litany of targets, including black Americans and South Africans, the “deep state,” survivors of February’s massacre at a Florida high school, immigrants, Muslims and, in recent days, John McCain...

Members of the group have attacked Black Lives Matter and other African-Americans as “ghetto scum” and ridiculed the teenage survivors of the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., on Feb. 14. Posters have referred to Douglas students David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez as a “Hitler wannabe” and a “bald-headed brat,” respectively, after they became outspoken activists for gun control in the wake of the shooting, during which a former student allegedly shot and killed 17 people.

One member believed the violent far-right rally of neo-Nazis and white supremacists in Charlottesville, Va., in August 2017 was a hoax, writing in a post liked by 1,600 users that the rally was “orchestrated by the left” to “destroy America.”

Now, I don't know that it can be said that his being an admin for this site is an endorsement of every one of its posts.  But surely he was aware of at least some of them and he didn't quit.  He only did that after his association with this group was discovered.

And man, reading this, it is a dark, dark window into the psyche of Trump voters, with the end of this article being particularly scary.

Who knows what REDSTATEWARD and kiidcarter8 do with their time online when they aren't here...

So...In a tweet today our "President" claimed that the section of his interview with Lester Holt during which he said he fired Comey over the Russia investigation was "fudged."

This is a bizarre claim in and of itself, and shows how worried Trump is over this particular bit of Obstruction of Justice evidence.

But even more bizarre, Trump is claiming "Lester Holt got caught" doing this.  What?  This is total dementia.  No such thing happened.  He is either 100% deluded, or he is passing on an outrageous lie by taking it to the next step to convince his devoted followers who of course would have no reason to follow it up.

This isn't normal folks.  We need to make sure this kind of shit is not normalized.

It's possible he's got more ideological flex than I had previously thought.

Gillum supports the replacement of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement with the U.S. Department of Justice. He seeks to expand Medicaid to cover "...700,000 people, who right now don't have access to health care".[41] He supports the removal of Confederate monuments.[42] Gillum wants to raise the corporate tax rate to 7.75 percent, up from the current 5.5 percent, which he said would generate $1 billion in revenue which would be used on education funding. [43] Gillum supports a $15 minimum wage. He is endorsed by Bernie Sanders and has received financial support from Tom Steyer and George Soros.[44][45] Gillum has called for the impeachment of Donald Trump.[46]

Gillum opposes Florida's Stand Your Ground law and wants the voting rights of felons restored.
