Bambi isn't a troll so much as a gullible curmudgeon easily duped by way-outside commentators who have minimal grasp of the American political process.

The crime team is getting baited to draw this out past a critical mass of primaries.

This looks like the Mueller investigation playing out in real time, starting with a bunch of republicans trying not to make a stink about what was going on right in front of them until it jumped the rails into bat shit crazy and unavoidably criminal. The Senators aren’t bound by any DOJ memo.

Every factual objection raised by the defense now engenders a round of relitigation of a subset of evidence and witnesses mentioned in the amendments now tabled on party lines.

They also have to be careful who and what and how they reference anything in their rebuttals. Clear discrepancies in the record in dispute between the parties naturally calls for more evidence.

If trump does have a general he likes, it seems to be Custer.

Just be careful if you mention his little big horn - he's sensitive about that.

GOPism is now a cult,  so I expect little traction for any newly discovered facts with them.   They may not be bound by doj memos,  but they are bound to the Anointed One.

Election count only thing that matters

I am not sure it even does

Trump will have done enough in his 4 years to be plenty proud.  And his influence will carry on with (and outside) the party even if he loses in November

Yeah, even if we survive it’ll take decades to repair the damage to the nation and that’s just peachy, right?

Aw, come on, what I read here day after day, are pages of forumites pushing special agendas.

If you’ve been on the internet for any period of time, you’ve likely run into a troll at some point. An internet troll is someone who makes intentionally inflammatory, rude, or upsetting statements online to elicit strong emotional responses in people or to steer the conversation off-topic. They can come in many forms. Most trolls do this for their own amusement, but other forms of trolling are done to push a specific agenda.

Rude?
I'm not one levelling rude etc personal insults.

Off topic?
Trump is everywhere...from London to Me Too.
Iceland to Idaho.

"From the outside looking in" I posted to demonstrate how some, respected journalists, etc, outside America think [and have many supporters of their opinions] about Trump, his election victory in 2016, and his impeachment.

Remember 'the Monk', Tony Abbott, from his time as Prime Minister of Australia?

'Almost a religious aspect': Tony Abbott downplays link between bushfires and climate change

Former prime minister Tony Abbott has downplayed the contribution of climate change to the Australian bushfire crisis, telling a US audience he believes the link between extreme weather events and carbon emissions has become akin to a religious dogma for many people.

In a speech to the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank, Abbott also heaped praise on US President Donald Trump, essentially endorsing him for a second term in the White House.

Trump’s re-election is crucial

All this is extremely important to Australia.

First the American president has long been the leader of the West. It is important that his office be given the respect it has hitherto been accorded domestically and internationally.

Second, it is crucial for Australia that Donald Trump succeed in making America great again so there is no doubt that we will long live in a world where the principal power shares similar values and objectives, laws and language.

Third, his powerful example could encourage Australian politicians to change direction and govern in the interests of the Australian people and not to follow the alien and damaging dogmas to which they regretfully render obeisance.

You listed 3 reasons why trump’s defeat and removal is essential, Bambi. There is no reason to anyone’s benefit except MBS and Putin to let the rapey baby roam free.

First the American president has long been the leader of the West. It is important that his office be given the respect it has hitherto been accorded domestically and internationally.

That stopped.

Donald Trump is barely the leader in his own White House, where staff works to get around him.

He is not even slightly the leader of the West.

At one point during the proceedings, former Bill Clinton press secretary and CNN political analyst Joe Lockhart wrote on Twitter that Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz could go to "prison," noting that Cruz's Twitter account was posting tweets during the trial. Lockhart was quickly mocked by social media users pointing out that it's common for senators' Twitter accounts to be run by staff, and Cruz's representatives confirmed to Fox News that Cruz had not sneaked his phone into the chamber.

Indeed, even Cruz's couldn't resist poking some fun at Lockhart, writing "COME AND TAKE IT," with an image of a cellphone.

No. He is a malignant infection being isolated and expelled from the body politic. He does lead a small flock of equally diseased sheep. It is clear your are one of them. You should have gotten your shots instead of letting your #1 radio host lead you so far astray and sell you to the glue makers.
