Yep,  Godwin always said his law was neutral,  a conjecture that all heated web discussions will include a parallel to Nazi Germany.  He never says that the parallel can't be valid.

Frankly I wish it would have been sooner.

And if the "help" that is brought in to squash the "unrest" takes the form of an unmarked and unaccountable secret police force untrained in crowd control and using rented vans to snatch people off the street then deny they were ever taken, along with tear gassing and beating peaceful protesters, all the better.

"These babies have not even had their first birthday yet. Please help us stop the spread of this disease."
She did not provide additional details on their conditions.

In order to quickly find a cure for this disease...

The researchers around the world need to all work together, and the researchers need to all share information on the world wide web, etc.

I read that the Russians were trying to steal information from researchers in the UK, and in the USA, and that is just silly. We need to all share information so that we can cure this disease quickly. We need to share information globally, including with the Russians, if the Russians can help to find a cure then they should be welcome to work for a cure along with the rest of the world. The Russians have some great scientists, and they can help.

We also need to share information with Rio de Janeiro, and with the Philippines, etc.

Here in Orange County, California, we have UC Irvine, and it is a great research hospital, and they are using Remdesivir inhalers, and other things are being tried. If we cure the disease here in Orange County, then we need to share the cure with the world. Like they did with Polio. We need to cure this disease quickly, and we need to work together as a team. Information needs to be shared freely among researchers.
