The Biotech conference that got Massachusetts off and running on dealing with COVID-19 may have been responsible for 20,000 cases.

Down the Hatch Act.

While Pompeo's busy preparing for his (pre-recorded) speech for the RNC, he's also covering his tracks:

Mind you, no investigation until and unless Germany proves that something inappropriate happened.

Wait, what?!

Basically what is happening in many cities, yes.  Sadly so.

If you believe this IS happening ->  why re-elect Trump?

Answer the question.

Mr Bolt ...no mask 34th birthday party for Mr Bolt in Jamaica.
Lots of hugging, partying...good time had by all.
Mr Bolt now has Covid-19.
Hope he'll be ok...and not have to have limbs amputated...and suffer brain, liver, kidney, heart, bowel damage.

If he recovers, it will probably be fast.

lol

Gee, I seem to have a different recollection ...

Of course you do.

You don't envision how it could have been worse.

It's OK.  That's your role.

I can certainly envision how it could have been a whole lot better.

I've added "Marxist" to the never-ending list of words you have no idea the meaning of.

https://slate.com/culture/2020/08/nba-tv-ratings-china-ethan-strauss-athletic.html

Quote
In a piece published in the Athletic last week, Ethan Strauss reported that the ratings for network NBA broadcasts have declined by 45 percent since 2011–12. Games on TNT are also down by more than 40 percent, while ESPN’s ratings have gone down roughly 20 percent. And despite predictions that ratings for the league’s “bubble” games would soar, they’ve actually been lower than those for pre-bubble games. “Big trends tend to result from multiple factors,” Strauss wrote. Among the ones he cited: that players, coaches, and broadcasters have been highly critical of the United States and its government while remaining mostly silent about China.

But the decline is not new. It is not 2018-2020, but ongoing since 2011-12, which suggests that the criticism of the US is a smaller part of it than he would like to admit (or that Ward would). Further seeing double the drop on some stations over the other begs questions, too.

But overall, if that is why they are leaving, then perhaps they will be happy if the games stop.

I doubt it.

This is all bullshit. Ratings are down because the players' constant espousal of dialectical materialism turns away clear-thinking people like Red.

6 months in and there's more cases per day in August than during the Spring.
Still no coordinated national policy.
I can't believe how bad the response has been and continues to be.
It's been embarrassing.
Not sure how it could have been worse.

Without vocal doctors, healthcare unions, Democratic Governors, and Democratic Mayors, and hundreds of thousands of people with good sense and of good faith and conscience, it would have been much much worse.

In a pure trumpist world, inhabited by the likes of Red and Kiid only, you’d need a third story on your house just to see over the piles of corpses rotting unburied right now.
