Are you guys in the Paris accord?

Australia is in the Paris accord.
It accumulated emissions credits under the Kyoto Protocol and wants/wanted to use said credits to help meet its Paris targets.

Trump had the right idea, give it all the flick, that way you can keep your economy strong, reduce emissions as best you can, and not have to shovel truckloads of money into the UN's coffers.

Does anyone still have a link to the fucking thing?

I wouldn’t want to go around thinking Kiid is functionally illiterate like the trump he so admires when in fact he can recognize the shape of certain words.

Is Scomo trying to babybrexit his way out of certain international agreements that his predecessors have committed Australia to?

I think we could have a corporate liability shield for any applicable company where the entire chain of command from line supervisor to CEO with any responsibility for worker oversight or safety pleas to personal criminal guilt and liability and accepts without contest sentences at the top of the recommended ranges for all covered offenses charged.

If the people take responsibility, their corporation can be saved from the consequences of their fatal misdeeds.

No.
Those Kyoto credits are real, and should be able to be "cashed in" and used to meet Paris targets...many Conservatives believe.

Some people believe that these Climate fest agreements are more about "redistributing wealth" than anything else.

No, but he should be.

Let the Paris climate deal die. It was never good for anything, anyway

Opinion:
Paris is a climate fairy tale. It has always been more about money and politics than the environment.
Last year, U.S. President Donald Trump wisely announced that America would withdraw.
For developed nations who still believe Paris is a viable plan, the prospect of a massive transfer of wealth under the guise of carbon reductions must seem less attractive without the U.S. to help foot the bill.
Still, other world leaders seem irrationally committed to pursuing the real objectives of Paris: wealth redistribution, virtue signalling and globalist governance..

_________________________________________________

Two weeks of climate talks in Bonn ended last week without agreement on a draft negotiating text, the Washington Post reports. Developing countries demanded to know when the US$100-billion package promised to them as part of the Paris climate agreement would be forthcoming. Hopefully, the answer will be “never” and that will lead to the end of the deal.

Some key minutiae from the Flynn fiasco,

http://www.emptywheel.net/2020/12/09/in-his-mike-flynn-opinion-emmet-sullivan-made-a-finding-of-fact-against-billy-barrs-new-reality/

Judge Sullivan may have laid out evidence that the DOJ has presented to him that shortly gets used to implicate Bill Barr and his crooked underlings, whether pervertable or imported, at DOI (though soon to be DOJ again).

So many offenders crying out for pardons and so little time.

Rand Paul seems to think so.

Rand Paul just objects to some Congressional hurdles that would slow Trump from pulling troops out of Afghanistan and Germany.  He's antiwar, and anti-military sprawl, which is good.  But he doesn't seem to make the connection that the more you finance the US military, the more likely it will remain global and engage in wars.
That $740B Randy Paul will vote for after the most minor tweaking is actually a vote for militarism and a danger to world peace.

They can’t buy respect, but it’s a seller’s market for liscences to Kill and trump and Mitch are still selling, selling, and selling which is fine for them because at this point they have both undeniably and completely sold out.

Scomo is getting trumpy with Oz’s vaccine rollout.

Troubling. Shows you’ve got to thoroughly vet your research before approval.
