Most of the BLM protests had regular ordinary police departments.

After some were violent, forces started to go with heavier defense gear and weaponry.I am sure you are talking about the DC events alone - and that shows my point - that on Jan 6 they were seriously undermanned - - that the mayor fouled up.

Address that - or show your foolhardiness.

No.

I addressed the events of Jan 6th multiple times, including what the Mayor requested to start with, Kid.

Foolhardiness? Hahahahaha! You, Luee, Bambu, and Ward have so tight a control on that trait that I couldn't get any if I tried.

Kid, the NG sent the requested people to DC, w/o weapons or riot gear, as previously indicated.

1) It took them THREE HOURS to change gears.
2) It took TWO HOURS for approval to come to the governor of Maryland.
3) HOW THE FUCK did they not have a back-up unit ready to go, even if they ignored all the intel that was publicly available about the event?!

Oddly enough, nothing in the timeline explains any of those three items or even pretends to.

Bowser approved the initial plan

She is responsible for its being so sparse.

Yes.

No.

The NG staged extras for the summer event. They could have staged them for this one. They chose not to.

They are responsible for that.

Further, she is not responsible for DHS not having told her or the military's not knowing what was being planned by the would-be coup leaders. Otherwise, she might have made a different decision, don't you think?

And, again, NONE of what you or they said explains why it took so long to change gears and get the NG there when the need became clear.

Be realistic, Kid. To hell with good.

Shooting trump when he hits the ground in Texas would be a very good start, after he is kicked down the steps of the plane.

Curious, Josh -

shouldnt something like this be cleaned up from the board?

Yup.

Just documenting it all first, same as with all such things.

From the outside looking in...comes the truth?

The Sunday Telegraph;

Seeds of dissent in the US were planted long before the Trump administration

Trump has accepted some blame for the mob that invaded the Capitol this week, but the seeds of dissent were planted four years ago, writes Piers Akerman.

An uneasy calm has descended on Washington but unless the real questions raised by the storming of the Capitol are answered the storm will not dissipate.

President Trump has accepted some blame for creating the mob which invaded the political heart of America, but the seeds of dissent were well planted and watered during the 2016 presidential campaign by Hillary Clinton’s activist supporters.

Clinton herself branded Trump’s supporters as the “basket of deplorables”, ensuring that resistance to her brand of liberal (in the US sense) politics would harden.

Embracing the hard-Left, as she did, and giving extremists like some involved in the Black Lives Matter mob a licence to loot and burn and murder and take over cities like Portland without immediate censure, as The New York Times and CNN did, was always only going to fuel the resentment of Trump supporters toward the elites who have traditionally run the nation.

Those in the middle of the country legitimately complained that their voices weren’t being heard.

J.D. Vance’s best-selling work Hillbilly Elegy, now a film starring Amy Adams and Glenn Close, captured the essence of that overlooked heartland and many turned to the book to try to understand what motivated those who had been ignored to turn to a political outsider like Trump for salvation.

Snowflakes .

Nobody whines nearly as much as white people who are mad they have to more 5han just show up to claim the American Dream.

They vote Republican because of race and wonder why they get fucked time and again.

Suckers.

However, Hogan, who requires the Department of Defense’s authority to mobilize his National Guard troops, said he was “repeatedly denied” approval to do so from the Pentagon despite being “ready, willing and able” to assist.
Hogan said he had a “back and forth trying to get that authorization” and that, about an hour and a half later, Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy gave approval to send his troops to Washington, D.C.

More truth?

Daily Telegraph;

Tim Blair: Riots in Washington were terrible, but the left have ignored others

Finally, following years of violent protests against the departing President, an uprising occurred that leftists and the media both detected and condemned, writes Tim Blair.

We’re all agreed then. Last week’s Capitol Building riot in Washington was a disgrace and police should round up and charge everybody who participated in this shocking affront to democracy.

On this, conservatives and leftists speak as one. It’s just that conservatives have had a little more practice.
We’ve been condemning political violence for years. Our friends on the left, however, are new to this game.

They ignored or downplayed riots across the US throughout last year, sometimes hilariously.

In August, left-leaning CNN ran this caption during coverage of an uprising in Wisconsin: “Fiery but mostly peaceful protests after police shooting.”
Mostly peaceful? On screen, live scenes depicted a city ablaze.

White crooks and psychos in need of an alibi often try to find a Black person to displace their guilt on.

It is happening here and it happens all the time.

‘Riots ‘in the summer were over 5he routine violation rights and excessive use of force by police.

These motherfuvkers killed a cop because they’re mad over losing an election by7 million votes and 5he same EC count margin Trump got in 2016.

CP officer Eugene Goodman A black man who used himself as bait to distract raging white supremacists to save wealthy white politicians, several of whom were arguing at that moment to disenfranchise black voters.

Kind of rare when I agree with Kid. May want to frame it.

One could make the case that if we're condemning violent talk on Parler,  and approving its deplatforming,  we shouldn't have it here,  either.   I know that Fac is just venting,  and likely is at the threat level of a teddy bear,  but it might be sensible to disallow calls for assassination.

NBC reports that the FBI and NYPD warned the Capitol Police.

That puts it squarely back on CP's shoulders - and likely the NG's, again.

I wonder if there is any evidence that CP told the mayor. Not that we have seen yet, at least, but it bears watching for.

"All lives matter" is inclusive...inclusive of all people equally.
But no, if White people say it they get sacked from their jobs and run out of town as 'racist'.

"Black Lives Matter" is not inclusive.

Therefore. it's no wonder White people are out to look after themselves and let the other races, who don't want to embrace inclusivity, look after themselves.
"Us" and "them" it surely is...now more than ever.

Yes, each group has to protest with its own race placards..."Black Lives Matter", "White Lives Matter", Brown Lives Matter...etc.

The NBA commentator who was sacked from his job for saying "All Lives Matter"...has found new employment.
