They are the thug party.

When you see trump on his knees in front of Lavrov, it’s easy to say he’s a weakling and a coward, so how could trump be a thug? Remember thugs are often weaklings and cowards who try to cover their weakness with violence and hide their cowardice with bluster.

Trump continues to collude with Russia because the more America knows trump the more we hate him and want him gone or buried with the stinking corpse of the republican party.

Red’s delusions about the economy are as hard to sell as US soy beans in China.

Megafire NW of Sydney is still burning...has burnt out 988,000 acres of national park bush/forests so far.
More homes lost the other day.
It dies down for a few days, then flares again when the winds spring up.
Gonna be 'on for young and old' on Thurs this week when the temperature will be reaching 114F in Sydney's west and the fire zone...with strong westerly winds.
Back the smoke will be coming into Sydney again.

100+ fires burning in NSW atm...54 reportedly out of control.

Greta-ilk folk are complaining.
Doctors are complaining.

I never understood why a DEM Prez selects a REPUB as FBI or CIA director or Defense Secretary and such.  They feel the need to show they are tough or serious or bipartisan by doing so.  But you never see a GOP Prez tap a DEM for Education Secretary or EPA chief.  Instead they select some industry lobbyist who proceeds to scuttle the mission, shut things down, dismantle the department (see Devos, Betsy).

Yet Obama in his bipartisan delusions selected Comey for FBI Director (major fail) and Chuck Hagel as Defense Sec.  The most the right does is put a black conservative in charge of HUD.

One side plays hardball, the other brings boxing gloves to a knife fight.

Seems they're taking a break from killing human beings in death chambers over Christmas, resuming again in January.

Seems OH, TN, PA, TX haven't yet seen the light.
How can they live with themselves.

Of course we now know that there was no collusion by Trump with Russia, no Trump obstruction of justice , but plenty of misconduct by FBI and Justice officials bent on overturning an election. And a willing media to rubber stamp that misconduct.

IG Report found the investigations into Trump Campaign connections with Russia were justified.  Mueller report found collusion and instances that were obvious obstruction and would have been called as such if the AG wasn't corrupt.

If the FBI and Justice officials wanted Clinton to be President, they maybe should have leaked the investigations into Trump that led to multiple convictions and revealed deep connections and collusion with Russia, and not publicly announced bogus investigations into Clinton (twice) that would lead to nothing.

I guess those in favor of caging kids and cutting food stamps can be happy they were so bad at their jobs.

http://www.salon.com/2019/12/16/giuliani-admits-he-needed-ambassador-marie-yovanovitch-out-of-the-way-for-ukraine-scheme/

Salon!!

Actually, the New Yorker:

https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/12/23/the-ukrainian-prosecutor-behind-trumps-impeachment

Confirmed in a separate interview Giuliani did with the Times, in which he adds that Trump was in the loop:

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/16/us/politics/giuliani-yovanovitch-ukraine.html

And again in an interview with Laura Ingraham on FOX:

https://www.businessinsider.com/giuliani-doubles-down-on-admission-he-forced-yovanovitch-from-job-2019-12

Nothing like admitting to criminal conspiracy and abuse of power on TV.

Even Trump can not possibly be so stupid to keep Rudy on board if he didn't have a shitload of goods he could drop on your "president's" head should he be thrown under the bus...the "insurance policy" Giuliani has spoken of on a couple of occasions.

But never mind that the "president" and his "lawyer" sound like and behave like low level mobsters.  They are actually really really concerned about corruption.  Really.

Obama just gave the aid blindly.  Bush as well, likely

That's OK.  But I have no problem with Trump

a)  wanting to know that the aid is being used properly
and
b)  wanting European nations to be paying their proper share

For some reason some Democrats take issue with this kind of oversight.

LOL!  Obama gave the aid blindly...dude.  Biden made them fire corrupt prosecutors.  Remember what this whole fucking thing is supposedly about?

Jesus, you are a moron.

And the aid started in 2014 after the invasion of Crimea.  So no, your Bush not involved.

b)  wanting European nations to be paying their proper share

Trump is lying to you.  And you of course buy it completely because you are an incurious moron who will believe anything your White Nationalist "president" wants you to believe.

President Donald Trump wrongly said that “Europe and other nations” were “not” contributing to Ukraine, specifically calling for Germany and France to “put up money.” In fact, the European Union and European financial institutions have contributed more than $16.4 billion in grants and loans to Ukraine since 2014.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/11/13/factcheck-trump-wrong-european-aid-ukraine/4178935002/

For some reason some Democrats take issue with this kind of oversight.

Yeah.  For some reason Democrats take issue with "oversight" focused exclusively on one chief political rival that consists only of a publicly made announcement of an investigation, written by the "president's" "lawyer" who has made no secret of colluding with corrupt Ukrainians to dig up dirt that politically benefits trump.

I have no idea what this sentence is supposed to mean.  Those who cried how Bill Clinton should have been removed from his position have not gone down in history as blabbering extremists.  Some notable ones are still in the Senate, actually, defending your "president."

And if my belief that Trump has committed impeachable offenses that have been well proved and documented makes me a blabbering extremist,  then about half this country are blabbering extremists.

With 71% of that country agreeing with me that the Senate should not stand in the way of testimony from those closest to Trump:

Except there is literally no contemporaneous evidence of either being a motive in withholding aid. No discussion of corruption in his phone calls, no discussion of corruption from the three amigos running a shadow policy. Nothing.

Yeah, for  some reason Democrats objected to a President using the power of his office and withholding foreign aid to pressure a foreign government to announce an investigation into a political rival. Imagine that.

And it should be clear; it would be pure insanity to ask a country to address its corruption by urging it to publicly announce two isolated investigations (even putting aside that they just happen to be hugely politically helpful to the “president” forcing them.)

One, if a country’s government apparatus is corrupt one investigation isn’t going to fix it if all the corrupt people running that corrupt apparatus remain.  And two, you are saying the government is corrupt!  So why do you think that investigation will be fair and unbiased?  And three, how is a public announcement proof that they are actually following through with the investigation? Because remember, they are corrupt!   Its fucking nutty.

You can say toddlercarter8 isn’t evil for believing this bullshit because he is a moron.  You can maybe say the same of REDSTATEWARD because he is proving to be a tin-foil hatter.  But Republicans in Congress parroting this line know better.  And know full well they are abetting a corrupt “president” in his bid to defile our Democracy for their own political benefit.  That’s evil.
