Kilmeade criticizes 3M and other suppliers -

for their absence of patriotism - dealing goods to accounts (nations) that "will pay cash".

This is interesting - and sort of what I was speaking to when asking why peoplke wouldnt go where it is more safe

They really think they can keep folks from homes that the citizen's own ("second homes", in this case)?

May God bless the people who are keeping our stores open and stocked.

I rode my bicycle to the market, Northgate, yesterday and was happy to see the shelves stocked.

And my local market has chicken for $0.69 per pound, I got eight pounds of chicken for five dollars. So, I got some good barbecue sauce and I am going to have barbecued chicken to last for days. I am so grateful.

I also have stuff to make fish tacos, and cotto salami sandwiches.

They still do not have toilet paper, but they have Kleenex tissues, with a limit of 2 boxes per person.

I am also eating raw garlic and oranges to build up my immune system.

And the store has plenty of shampoo and conditioner, and cleaning products.

I am grateful that we have good products in the stores, I just wish we had toilet paper.

And of note, the CVS pharmacy sells wine for fifteen dollars per box, for a 5 liter box, and it is good wine, I buy the Almaden. Cabernet Sauvignon, it is good wine.

So, I have plenty of food and wine, I am grateful. I am very thankful for the truckers, and grocery store workers, and others, who make sure that we have food at our markets.

Salute,

Tony V.

Former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich laughed off the idea of the airline industry receiving a $50 billion government bailout amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

Reich took to Twitter to blast the focus of Republicans while considering economic stimulus measures.

“Throughout this crisis Trump and Republicans in Congress have made it clear that they believe in generous socialism for banks, airlines, and the cruise industry, but think the American people should mostly fend for themselves,” Reich wrote.

“As a former secretary of labor, I can tell you that the airlines don’t deserve a $50 billion bailout,” he explained. “In the last 10 years, they spent 96% of their cash flow to buy back shares of their own stock in order to boost executive bonuses.”

“They shouldn’t see a dime of taxpayer money,” Reich concluded.

Liz should be on the short list, though she's too valuable to waste as Veep.
She no longer has ANY values. Her tweet rankings calling the stimulus bill a “ bailout” puts her in the lunatic bin of failed politicians. Joe Biden would be a fool to waste time even talking about her.

Red hates it when his bitch-ass criminal idols get called out. Support better crooks, Red. MS 13 has better leadership than the republican party.

LOL
Since when is the Government acting as the lender of last resort guilty of practicing “socialism”?
The airlines are bleeding money because the government has crippled the industry by RIGHTLY protecting public health. The rescue bill would make loans available to airlines against high levels of collateral such as future ticket sales or even airplane stock.  Those who don’t need the loans won’t take them at high rates.

Not one fucking dime.   One of the most polluting forms of transport,  treats customers like garbage,  schedules sleep-destroying brain-rotting hours for its most skilled workers,  and serves as a giant conveyor belt of money to executives who are already filthy rich.   They can melt all those jets down and use the alloy metal to make high-speed railcars and oceanic hovercraft AFAIC.

Red, you don’t even understand the inside of the the rectum your head is lodged in.

Trump is getting ideas from Jared on how to jumpstart the funeral business and create a demand surge for grave plots.

The airline industry burnt its contingency fund fluffing its share price. Bail out the flight and ground crews and the ticketing agents.

"Unfortunately, millions of Americans are learning that the true minimum wage is ZERO - when you lose your job because of a global pandemic that is killing your fellow citizens - and our elected leaders won't even have a debate on a bill"

-  Tom Cotton, discussing a 15 dollar an hour minimum wage being attached to the relief bill by Democrats
