Trump's finishing line today:

"The American people have been so disciplined...It's been my honor to be their president...I have said it before, I'll say it agaln - it has been my great honor....I have a big decision coming up - and I only hope to God that it's the right decision.  But it will be based on the input of many talented people, many smart people - and people that love our country.  Thank you all very much, thank you".

Kid’s thoughts don’t lend themselves to being clearly expressed in English. They are much clearer and more frightening in the original German.

Millions of Americans who don’t earn enough income to file tax returns can now claim their one-time stimulus payments by filing a free, basic online form with the Internal Revenue Service, the agency said Friday.
The IRS has arranged with commercial tax-preparation firms, including TurboTax maker Intuit Inc., H&R Block Inc. and TaxAct Inc., to provide ways for these people to file bare-bones tax returns through IRS.gov and commercial tax-prep websites to receive their payments.
The payments of $1,200 per adult and $500 per child under 17 are part of the economic-relief law Congress passed last month in response to the coronavirus pandemic, and money will start going out through direct deposits next week. Payments phase out for individuals with more than $75,000 in income and married couples with more than $150,000.

The new option for low-income households is available as part of Free Fillable Forms at IRS.gov. After setting up an account with an email address and password, the non-filer must provide only relevant names, address, Social Security number or numbers and information on eligible dependents.

Just another example of Democrats stopping republicans from robbing the poor to enrich the wealthy in the midst of the crisis. Mitch got bitch slapped and backtracked on his goal of further extending poverty.

Mizzou??  Thousands of overseas students,  many Asian,  coming and going (at least until February) from a large densely packed university campus.   Also,  we're on the main interstate between KC and St Lou.

Lot of college students traveled to Italy I’m sure a fair number were from Mizzou

My guess is Levin is correct - in that businesses (churches and schools as well) - after careful thought - WILL in fact be opening sooner than now being projected by the understandably careful masses.  And in states where not allowed, citizens will ask why they are waiting.

Didn't need the massive number of ventilators demanded.

Won't see the staggering number of deaths projected.

And now WILL see the economy "open" when reasonable, despite outcries from certain groups.

You do realize Levin and the rightwing media elites and the Republican Party donor class have convinced you to risk the lives of you and yours for the sake of their corporate revenue?

The Republicans don’t give a fuck about you.

You’re like their voters in Wisconsin.

Nothing but cannon fodder.

Sucker.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/schiff-sens-feinstein-harris-announce-9-11-style-commission-to-probe-coronavirus

“The federal government was unprepared to confront the coronavirus pandemic and economic crisis, let alone both at the same time," Harris said Friday. “The commission needs to take a holistic approach to oversight, and cannot leave out an analysis of the disturbing disparity in prevention and health outcomes in the Black community.”

How have we shown to be unprepared on the economic crisis?  I think the opposite is true.

Dude, you should realize what’s saving the nation is kind of like ‘radical socialism ‘

When folks like you and I see an imperative to save something, Larry, the deranged right wing takes it as an opportunity to do some looting, preferably of corpses since they put up less of a fight.

Republicans were not unprepared. They assiduously snuck high volume looting into the Covid-19 response package, lying their asses off the whole way, at the expense of the American tax payer.

Red has found one of the three legs of the stool. He has promptly shoved it up his ass whereby it has somehow miraculously worked its way through his fingers (though he may use voice to text, which is a gross image but may explain some of his problems with English) and into his post.

More on the stool and constituent legs,

They’ve been out and out looting the government coffers since forever.

This is a mob caper movie where the gang is running a bust out when Rodan appears on the scene and rather than kill the monster the crooks figure out a way to make a bigger score.

It was more presidential than usual, especially compared to the campaign rallies he has been calling briefings.

Low bar, Kid. Not presidential, just less non-presidential.

And why the fuck you would think that ONE almost presidential appearance in every four weeks of crisis would be enough to make anybody but a true believer think that qualified the narcissist for 4 more years is beyond me!

I'm glad that is finally done. It was promised from the outset and given some of the other delays, it would not have shocked me if it had not been ready yet.

But Ward, do you truly have nothing to say about you LIE about having gotten the COVID payment?
