Having already hit the projected minimum fatalities for the entire course of the epidemic (in under 6 months!), trump decides its time to disband the Covid Response Team because now his mission is accomplished.

Covid-19 is doing better than anyone could have predicted, thanks to trump. Mission Accomplished.

Quackery? Graft? Fraud?

It doesn’t matter. You can’t investigate a team that never existed, and according to republicans by June the Covid Response Team will never have existed.

And lost already more than 70,000 souls.

It’s the very predictable way these creeps work.

Trump and Company are nothing but a bunch of grifters.

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/04/internal-documents-reveal-team-trumps-chloroquine-master-plan

Oh, so terribly surprising.

Right

So Mr Bright wanted to allow the use of hydroxychloroquine.

But only

-  in a hospital
-  for patients that had tested positive for COVID

Yet patients were also being told to stay away from hospitals even if they think they may have COVID -a s long as they had no extreme breathing troubles

Don't come to the hospital!

OK - but then the ILL cannot access the drug - a drug that Mr Bright is perfectly fine with GIVING TO THE ILL - but only after they are hospitalized.

- whic AGAIN - a great many of the ILL would not BE.

Thus yes - kill the Commander in Chief for wanting to allow access to potentially helpful doses (see anecdotes) - under the care of a personal physician - but outside a hospital setting - BECAUSE THEY (rightfully, correct) DONT WANT HOSPITALS FLOODED.

Disallowing medication is downright cruelty.

Among the many sad stories we hear are I am SURE cases of death after non-treatment.  That's DEATH AFTER NOT BEING TREATED.  Read it again.  That's the truly sad state of this all.

"We need the trials"

Yes.  Of course we do.  In a perfect world.......

This is the furthest thing since the Holocaust from perfect.

That’s right! Didn’t even have to manufacture ZyklonB!

That there's a still a chance and I'd say a pretty good one that he gets re-elected speaks to what a nightmare the Democratic Party has become.

...and how strong MAGA was and still is.

If there wasn't a need for that grand slogan, it never would have stuck at the level it did (thanks, Jared and the rest of the great election staff of 2016)

In a hospital, observed by staff, near other meds and a crash cart to start with, is a situation with nearly manageable risks for a hydroxychloroquine treatment that hasn’t shown efficacy more than anecdotally.

This is not a Zpack we’re talking about.

There are other treatments that trump doesn’t have pecuniary interest in that are also FDA approved for other conditions, show more efficacy so far, and have less awful track record with patients showing side effects.

Couldn't be a better time for stopping the "lock-downs" and to disband the team.

How to tell if your nation has inadvertently given its top leadership post to a fucking imposter.

http://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/05/trump-george-conway-conservative-critics-new-coronavirus-ad-236461

It’s not after all that there is anything more pressing that he should be worrying about as a servant who swore to serve 300,000,000 million bosses or as a citizen while so many of his fellow citizens are dying and so many more are losing their livelihoods.

Lincoln would beat some sense into trump with the handle of an axe.

Unfortunately, then he would go to the theater.

But wait. The theaters are all closed.

Finally! It’s time to bring back President Lincoln!

http://slate.com/culture/2020/05/donald-trump-baseball-high-school-nyma.html

Compare this poetic exercise by 6th grade djt to the stream of filth in his present day twitter stream and you see someone who’s linguistic usage has plateaued if not lost ground throughout the last 60 years.

I like to see a baseball hit and the fielder catch it in his mitt…

I like to hear the crowd give cheers, so loud and noisy to my ears.

When the score is 5-5, I feel like I could cry. And when they get another run, I feel like I could die.

Then the catcher makes an error, not a bit like Yogi Berra.

The game is over and we say tomorrow is another day

————————-
SPOILER ALERT
————————-

He’s as dishonest about baseball as he is about golf, sex, finances, what people are saying, crowd sizes, or anything else.

From the article above,

The dorm Trump lived in has been condemned. But NYMA’s billionaire owner Vincent Mo, who bought the academy in a bankruptcy auction in 2015, refuses to tear it down. After all, visitors like to take selfies in front of it.

The man-boy, boy-man, ossified turd, or what have you had such a Loooooonng history of leaving properties derelict and vacant in his wake. A true modern day Ozymandias.

Much blame being tossed around at Cuomo today re:  nursing home deaths.

He should have being keeping a sharper eye on Seattle and listening to the WHO when trump was still golfing and hosting his endumbening orgy road show and terribly failing the entire nation in what is by far the most significant and defining interval of his imposter tenure so far.

Don’t worry. For trump at least, it will get worse, much worse.

How to tell when it is time to change "news" stations to one with actual news on it:

https://www.npr.org/local/309/2020/05/04/849109486/study-finds-more-c-o-v-i-d-19-cases-among-viewers-of-fox-news-host-who-downplayed-pandemic?utm_campaign=storyshare&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwAR0ATXLKMYUQbyrK3wH0cOCBONoJ9J5ZMx6WEwd2uogO4snZ4G3LA3PCel8

I am sorry that it is true, but it is unsurprising that it should be so.

The truly sad aspects of this are that (a) the people in question will not accept this for the truth it represents and (b) Hannity will get it that his listeners are substantially more likely to get COVID-19, but will do nothing to change his message(s) or style in the face of it.

I don't give a fuck what you think, Kid. You are a self-admitted troll who asks for data using questions that would have worked as a Google search and when given the data, anyway, doesn't use it for meaningful discussion, but for further inane questions and/or comments.

Repeatedly.

It's not new and I have just been reluctant to admit it wasn't going to change.
