Hydroxychloroquine has not been shown to be effective helping humans fight off Covid-19.

Anti-lockdown protests have been shown to be effective in spreading Covid-19 to people in places where prior to the protests the virus had yet to reach.

Hydroxychloroquine is efffective in many COVID-19 cases but should be watched closely for side effects, especially in those with underlying conditions, such as cardiovascular disease (this never disputed).

It has been at least partially, if not fully responsible for the recovery of many COVID-19 patients - and not as effective in others.  In those cases, other anti-virals/ forms of care are then turned to

Quote
"We're asking for temporary presidential immunity," Jay Sekulow told the Supreme Court Tuesday.

"Temporary presidential immunity," in the way the President's lawyers describe it, would mean that Trump (or whomever is president at the time) couldn't be investigated or prosecuted while holding the office of President. No subpoenas, no testimony, no indictments, if investigators sought those.

"Criminal process targeting the President" violates the Constitution, Sekulow said.

There is no evidence that Sekulow's last comment there is true.

And had there been "temporary presidential immunity," how would that have impacted prior presidencies? Further, why should they be protected from state criminal charges, even if they were protected from federal? And how do Civil Suits play into this. Would the VP be similarly protected? Can criminal behavior before election no longer be prosecuted because of the election? Where would Spiro T. Agnew fit in with this?

Could President Trump shoot somebody on 5th Avenue in NYC and not be prosecuted until after he left office? And why does prosecution inhibit the investigative process?

Lastly, what relationship does this have, if any, to congressional subpoena power.

The question is whether the hydroxychlorquine-zpac had anything to do with the better results! Zinc is in a few other ongoing trials.

The article tells you the theory - well, more than a theory - behind why hydroxychloroquine is often effective.

It interferes with the virus' ability to enter the cells -- and also seems to block them from replicating once they are already inside.

Hydroxychloroquine   .......   acts as an agent that transports the zinc into cells, increasing its efficacy

NBC has apologized for an editing error on Sunday’s Meet The Press hosted nowadays by Chuck Todd.  The error came in the way Todd broadcast an edited version of a CBS  interview with Attorney General William Barr.
Todd cued a video tape of Barr responding to a question by CBS reporter Catherine Herridge over what history would say about the Barr decision to drop all charges against Michael Flynn.
“history is written by the winner. So it largely depends on who’s writing the history.”

Todd live:

It’s a correct answer, But he’s the attorney general. He didn’t make the case that he was upholding the rule of law. He was almost admitting that, yeah, this is a political job.

But.
Meet the Press didn’t include Barr’s full answer to The question.  Which was :
But I think a fair history would say that it was a good decision because it upheld the rule of law. It upheld the standards of the Department of Justice, and it undid what was an injustice.

So Barr actually said what Todd accused him of not saying.

Obviously the great journalistic days of NBC News with Huntley, Brinkley, and Russert are never coming back.

What Barr said wasn’t true. Not remotely. It’s part of why he needs to be disbarred if not defenestrated ASAP.

Todd: He didn’t make the case that he was upholding the rule of law.

Barr: But I think a fair history would say that it was a good decision because it upheld the rule of law.

Ward: So Barr actually said what Todd accused him of not saying.

No, Ward. Barr said it, but Todd did not claim Barr did not say it. He claimed that Barr did not make the case.

I think Todd sucks as a journalist, but I think your interpretation sucks more.

I'd also note that this administration, AG's office explicitly included, only upholds the rule of law when it is convenient, if even then.
