Question still unanswered

Did she continue to take precautions?

Terrible reporting.

Today we are going outside...driving a few suburbs away...to a nail salon.
Nail salons have only recently been allowed to reopen.
The lone lady has a Covid-safe system for her clients.

She wears a mask, mrs bambu wears a mask, and between the two is a specially designed screen ...with a slot at the bottom for the customer to put their hands thru.
We agreed it was safe to do.

Then mrs bambu has to go to the doctor's medical centre...germs!... to have her eyes tested for a special reason.
She'll be wearing a mask. They are supposedly practising social distancing.
She's only taking the risk because she has to.

I am driving her.
I'll be dropping her off  then driving away to a car park, staying in the sealed car, then when she phones I'll drive and collect her.
Only problem, I might need to visit the bathroom (toilet, there's no bath) in the 2.5 hours it will all take.
I joined a nearby club for this specific purpose.
I might have to leave the protection of the sealed car and enter the big bad virus world...wearing a mask and glasses.
With NSW having 14 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday (all citizens returning from overseas and currently in quarantine in hotels)...and 'no community transmissions', there's some chance I''ll /we'll survive.

I'm worried that Bambu might run into a Muslim on his journey.

KH:  Well, I cant tell you what I've learned; that's classified

KH then goes on to rip Trump, unable to say anything specific

Ezra Klein is right.  People are turning partisan views into their core identity.   They cling to counterfactual beliefs in order to preserve their identity.  How absurd.

Cognitive bias/dissonance is a thing.

It is not purely conservative/liberal or even dumb/smart - smart liberals are just as capable of it.

There is a tilt of frequency, but it is not as bit a tilt as I would like.

Good work, Aurora PD. Keep those violin vigils in their place!

This is what happens when anarchist rioting protesters make society sick of them,  the violin vigil folk  pay a price.

Like Australia, America has a Constitution.  There have been 27 amendments to the US Constitution.  The very first amendment gives people the right to assemble peacefully.  The police in Aurora trampled on those rights.  It seems you want to live in a totalitarian society, not a free one.

I want to, and do for the most part, live in a  free one, where the laws, rules made by elected federal and state ( states have their own constitutions) politicians, city officials, and local govts are obeyed/followed by the People.
Cities operate as usual,  businesses do their best to make a profit etc. Commuters commute.
Then all of a sudden some people decide they're going to invade part of a city, occupy an intersection right at morning peak hour, glue themselves to the road, and throw the whole city into chaos.
It should not be allowed.

In normal times I would say the the violin vigil would've hardly been noticed.
However these are not normal ties.

So... if that is a good excuse for any behavior  "These are not normal times"  that is the same response anyone could use the argue against your posts.

Protestors shouldn't march near white people's homes inciting fear- well, sorry these are not normal times

By the time the violin vigil folk arrived...society had decided it was fed up with massed gatherings that were usually  turning violent.
Want to blame someone for the actions of Aurora PD...you can blame Aurora PD in part, and can blame others as well, you know who.

Protesters shouldn't be marching near anyone's homes causing fear.
And certainly should not be trespassing on private property.

Kids playing violin is the least likely to get violent peaceful protest you can have.  Assembly can't get much more peaceful than that. The cops acted without provocation.  You can't preempt protest in a free society. That is what totalitarian regimes do.  This is what the current level of funding the police gets you. A police state.   This was a mostly white crowd by the looks of it.  The people you want to be the majority leaders.  They were attacked by the very same forces meant to protect them.  It is hard to find a more "bambu appropriate" group of supporters than this one.  These are your people assembling peacefully with their children and they are attacked by the police for exercising their rights.

He is not saying the allegations are serious and will be forcefully responded to if they turn out to be true.  He cares only how this effects him politically, while carefully avoiding criticizing Putin.

Trump has been a long-time pious Christian  with a pentecostal's appreciation of Two Corinthians.

And three Leviathans, don't forget.

Two Corinthians, Three Leviathans.

As Trump said, "That was a very close game. Very close. Peter and Paul both loved it!"
