https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/02/politics/donald-trump-coronavirus-masks-politics-joe-biden-election-2020/index.htmlIt may not be long before we see Trump wear a mask, though you know he will say something Trumpist/kiidcarter8-like to waive away his previous position. "I always loved masks" or some other obvious lie.
Is there a single policy position that Trump takes that doesn't turn out to be wrong?
Open up the economy to create a V-shaped recovery during COVID? Nope.
Getting tough on illegal immigration and closing down the southern border will lead to a drop in crime? Nope.
The tax cuts will boost business investment? Nope.
Trade wars are great and easy to win? Nope.
Engaging North Korea will eliminate the threat of their becoming a nuclear power? Nope.
Eliminating regulations will lead to a comeback in coal? Nope.
"Protecting monuments" and praising White Nationalist protesters in Charlottesville? How has that worked out?
Trump is not big on policy or really, having any ambitions at all (see his latest nonanswer word salad when given a second chance to say what he would do if he wins reelection) but the few positions he does take end up being wrong. Every. Time.
