They said infection and mortality data are being manipulated.

In time they could be proven correct.

And the Trumpists think it’s great because first thing these powers will be used against those brown people. They are too dense to imagine that these powers could be used to enact policies they don’t support.

Brown people?

Many protesters in the BLM movement are people of color.   A phenomenon that's not entirely mysterious.  I'm sorry,  the warden must have cut off the news feed to your solitary cell.   Odd,  given that you seem to have web access.

http://www.dcreport.org/2020/07/17/devos-wants-to-turn-millions-of-children-into-coronavirus-lab-rats/

Trump is a monster who only hires other monsters.

Pitchforks and torches for the lot of them.

You may like this joke,  sent to me from an Australian pal....

President Trump was visiting a primary school in Washington and attending a grade four class.

They were in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings.

The teacher asked President Trump if he would like to lead the discussion on the word 'tragedy.'

So our illustrious President asked the class for an example of a 'tragedy'.

One little boy stood up and offered: "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a tractor runs him over and kills him, that would be a tragedy."

"No," said the President, "that would be an accident."

A little girl raised her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove off a cliff, killing everyone, that would be a tragedy."

"I'm afraid not," explained Trump. "That's what we would call a great loss."

The room went silent. No other child volunteered. The President searched the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?"

Finally at the back of the room, Little Johnny raised his hand. The teacher held her breath.

In a quiet voice he said: "If the plane carrying you was struck by a 'friendly fire' missile and blown to smithereens that would be a tragedy."

"Fantastic!" exclaimed Trump , "That's right. And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?"

"Well," says Little Johnny, "It has to be a tragedy, because it sure as hell wouldn't be a great loss ... and you can bet your sweet ass it wouldn't be an accident either!"

If someone were to take a plane down I hope trump and pence would both be on it.

Two more reasons for not liking what Trump had to say today in his Fox interview, for all that they are authentic Donald Trump:

Quote
“I have to see. Look ... I have to see,” Trump told moderator Chris Wallace during a wide-ranging interview on ”Fox News Sunday." “No, I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either.” The Biden campaign responded: "The American people will decide this election. And the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House.”

Trump also hammered the Pentagon brass for favoring renaming bases that honor Confederate military leaders — a drive for change spurred by the national debate about race after George Floyd's death. “I don’t care what the military says,” the commander in chief said.

I liked Biden's response to the first. And I will be surprised if we don't see the military quote in a Lincoln Project ad tomorrow or the next day.

Do you know fully what Trump said about Fort Bragg and other bases?

Which time? Today? Sure. When first challenged on it? Absolutely.

Which part of it are you endorsing? The part where he claims changing the base name would dishonor the men and women who had served there?

Or the part where he claims it is a proud part of our history?

Or the part where he says he doesn't care what the military things?

What did you have in mind?

All of it

(Glad you went back and read it)

Eat shit.

Yes, Kid, we know they believe it.

Do they have the right to be conspiracy theorists? Sure.

And they are right that the data are being manipulated - they're just wrong about the direction. Your president is the one doing it. Mr. B+ is making the data harder to access. His cronies in Georgia and Florida have been caught doing it. There are probably more.

Somebody opened fire on the home of a federal district judge in NJ, killing her son and injuring her husband.

Thus far, no announced motives or suspects.

But... "Salas is the judge on the case against Deutsche Bank in regards to Jeffrey Epstein, Karimi v. Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft et al."

I could see that as motive.
For what?

Sadly this is a story for about 15 minutes.

Where are the gun control folks on this one?

Second response, following caring about the people, was "too many guns too easily purchased."

Where is your response beyond the pity about the shortness of the news cycle. (And it's still on the front pages of my news sites, Kid, so maybe you're looking in the wrong places.)

No compassion for the judge? No concern over possible attempts to get retribution against our judges?

As a dangerous criminal, Kiid has an anti-judge bias.

It’s why he likes Bart “beer” Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court and wants to grant Clarence Thomas honorary whiteness.
