So 3/4 polled were Dem or independent?

And Trump still got 36%?

I'l take it

kiidcarter8 doesn't understand how polls work.

Of course, we knew that already.

Um, 3/4 of all registered voters are Dem or Independent.  So the cross-section would be valid.

That Tigani went to prison for campaign finance violations related to Biden’s campaign, and that he cooperated with federal investigators, has been known for years. But the details of his attempted cooperation, including the fact that the FBI investigated the Biden campaign, have remained secret until now.

https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/07/21/christopher-tigani-joe-biden-fundraising-373724

Trump's former lawyer/fixer is currently in jail for committing campaign finance violations that were directed by Trump personally.

Biden was investigated by.....let's see....... THE DELAWARE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

Can't make it up.

Trump's former lawyer/fixer is currently in jail for committing campaign finance violations that were directed by Trump personally.

Given the twin threats of loss of job and loss of unemployment benefits, coupled with Trump's threats to open the schools, of course he can.

Trump cant open the schools

What his aim is right now is that schools are working toward a re-open

Regardless of the state's or municipality's preferences and regardless of safety.

https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/trump_administration/trump_approval_index_history

48% total approve vs 43% strong disapprove

Promising.

Even if we were to accept Ras as an accurate barometer of political sentiment, and many do not, you're reporting apples and oranges, to spin a misleading narrative.

Strongly Approve-34%

Strongly Disapprove -43%

Is at least apples to apples.

While you may find a smaller negative gap promising, the #s appear to bounce within a narrow MOE.

The only promise you accurately keep is your promise to consistently troll this board with inaccuracy, misleading info, obfuscation and BS.

kid-you fool no one

I think the APPROVES will vote for Trump - and the strong disapproves for Biden

That leaves 5% up for grabs

Your math is as reliable as Rasmussen's "poll."

I agree that the approves will vote for Trump. I just think that it's closer to what the non-Rasmussen, non-Quinsig average is.

This isnt complicated

States should be working toward re-opening (and they are), so that the plan is in place if the numbers say GO.

What are the necessary numbers?  We dont  know - the slanted Gayle King never asked.

https://americanresearchgroup.com/economy/?fbclid=IwAR0i6RGOzgJ0Fcjq_oupbCb62PjWDXTKnBILW8fCT8CidYUK83-6LbItEUs

Compare to Rasmussen's Made Up Reports:

Quote
A total of 36% of Americans say they approve of the way Donald Trump is handling his job as president and 60% say they disapprove of the way Trump is handling his job according to the latest survey from the American Research Group. In June, 38% approved and 58% disapproved.
...
Among Republicans (26% of adults registered to vote in the survey and 24% of all adults in the survey), 79% approve of the way Trump is handling his job and 17% disapprove. Among Democrats (36% of adults registered to vote in the survey and 32% of all adults in the survey), 6% approve and 91% disapprove of the way Trump is handling his job. Among independents (38% of adults registered to vote in the survey and 34% of all adults in the survey), 34% approve and 61% disapprove of the way Trump is handling his job as president.

heh

So 3/4 polled were Dem or independent?

And Trump still got 36%?

I'l take it

And that is what you should expect you will get. Those are the current national percentages of parties.

Gallup:
Quote

            Republicans %   Independents %   Democrats %

2020 May 28-Jun 4   25         40            31

for comparison:
2020 Feb 3-16         33         39            26

So Biden was investigated by the Delaware DOJ?  And?

Not rocket science to understand that

1.  All politicians in two-person races are either greater or lesser of two evils.  Even Gandhi is on record as having a moment of spousal abuse, and made racist remarks.

2.  You pick the one that's lesser.  In this case, the one who isn't a 20,000-plus lie telling, corrupt, cheating, rapacious, openly bigoted, fascistic, advanced-dementia-suffering scumbag who thinks using nukes is a plausible option and hates the First Amendment (and others) and wants to establish an American gestapo while living in a fantasy bubble created for him by the producers of The Apprentice in which he feels like the smartest and shrewdest and most popular man in the universe.  And you also pick the one who doesn't want to bring down the infrastructure supporting, and integrity of,  American science, which played a key role in bringing about the American Century, as well as a massive wave of tech innovation that has transformed the world and extended the human adult lifespan by at least two decades and tripled crop harvests around the world staving off mass famines that would have killed billions.

Really not all that difficult.

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. "That laundry is not very clean; she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap." Her husband looks on, remaining silent. Every time her neighbor hangs her wash to dry, the young woman makes the same comments. A month later, the woman is surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and says to her husband: "Look, she's finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this? " The husband replies, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows." And so it is with life... What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look

Really not all that difficult.

It’s all they have.
They can’t brag about Trump so they have to bring Joe Biden’s negatives down to his level a la Hillary.

Problem for Trump is it’s Joe Biden.

Oh yeah, why was Trump impeached?

Because he didn’t want to run against Biden.

If the election is about two old white guys the only question is do I vote for the stupidity insane fascist bastard or Uncle Joe Biden?

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-to-sign-order-illegal-immigrants-voting-districts

Undocumented residents should not be counted toward the size of voting districts, says Trump in his new executive order.

This is his workaround for having had the citizenship question stricken from the census.

There will be a suit over this one, too, and I would not bet on his winning in court, given the background. Among other things, if you cannot ask citizenship questions, how do you know which people to exclude from the apportionment count?!

Understand, I am not asserting that the undocumented residents should be counted, only calling into question this approach to dealing with the topic.
