Two Aussie woman walked into Washington today...hope they don't get Covid-19.

Speaking of Covid-19;

From Britain a man reported to my radio that;

"My friends who've had Covid-19 and recovered have ongoing problems, including:

. Constant diarrhoea
. Constant rash
. Loss of sense and smell
. Scarred lung tissue"


That's besides the lasting problems I already knew about.

By-product of the Kennedy-Markey debate last night.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker

Grade: A+

No, Baker is not running for Senate.

But a big moment that people were left talking about after the debate was how two men trying to convince Massachusetts Democratic primary voters they are the most progressive person wouldn’t say for sure if they would vote against a Republican for governor in two years.

Baker has sky-high approval ratings. A big reason why is his support among Democrats and independents. But he was tacitly just told by two of the state’s biggest Democratic stars that he should run for a third term and they wouldn’t be that bothered if there was no credible Democratic challenger either.

Way out in rural Australia one pub has taken to boarding up the pub entrance...to keep emus out of the bar.

Two Aussie women

walk into a bar. First one says, why did they put the bar that low? Someone's going to get hurt.

One of my favorite jokes.   And for some reason the one that  gets the highest percent of blank looks.   I wonder if it's what my daughter calls a "dad joke"

My kids call it bad schtick... “Guy walks into the doctors office and he has a duck on his head...”

One of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite movies, My Favorite Year, Benjy Stone tries to teach that joke to KC, who claims she is not funny. She starts with "A man walks into a doctor's office wearing a duck" and it goes downhill from there. He gives her money for accordian lessons.

I wonder how many other cities are having this experience. And I wonder if the Richmond police chief is talking to the chiefs in some of those other troubled cities.

Wouldn't it be quite something if this proved to be the norm, not the exception?!

'Mistaken food source' no longer an excuse for the finned terrors downunder...one killed another man recently, came back 2 or 3 times to try to feed on him.
Two of his friends surfing near him, instead of fleeing, paddled over and got him onto his board and eventually got him to shore, 'fighting' the circling shark for his body over a long time.
No blood left by the time they got him in.

Many attacks there have been.
People keep trying their luck though.
