Didn't see the debate or even a nanosecond of any replay yet.

Sounds like Biden should make sure that for Debate #2 one candidate's mike is off while the other speaks and answers a question.  So no meaningful interrupting, without shouting.

If Trump doesn't agree to that, then just scrap the remaining two debates, explaining that Trump can't follow the rules and play nice, so nobody is going to play with him.  That Biden is interested in engaging in an actual debates, not a Trump interruptfest.

Trump needs the debates more than frontrunner Biden.  So they are either conducted on fair and equal terms set by Biden to ensure decorum and that both parties get to talk interruption free, or he nixes them.

Biden called Trump a clown.

Yes.

He was and is a clown.

OTOH, Trump called Biden "number two," as if they were in elementary school, as well as dumb and a bunch of other things.

He also falsely claimed that Hunter Biden was dishonorably discharged, which is a specific term that does not apply to Hunter Biden.

But you don't care about that, evidently. "Biden called Trump a clown." Oh, the horror.

I couldn't watch it...two old men shouting at each other in a slanging match...it surely was.
Debate? more like a road rage incident.
Resembled question time in my parliament.
I can't watch that either...embarrassing.

China is threatening to start a war if US sends troops to Taiwan.
Nothing about that in the "debate".

Nor about this:

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/9/30/trump-looks-set-to-miss-required-deadline-for-2021-refugee-quota

Breaking a 1980 law because as ever President "Law and Order" only follows the laws he wants to.

As we witnessed at the "debate."

Another success story for the Trump administration is in the offing, potentially, if not Trump's or Kushner's intention:

Hamas and Fatah may have been forced to work together because of the Israeli normalizations!

Biden and co should be made denounce "Black power/ Black supremacy", "Antifa leftist supremacy",  and "BLM supremacy" groups.

Putin’s pet is a clown, both unpresidential and the worst president ever. He doesn’t care and should just shut up.

Biden is the kind of President we would all respect and really need right now.

Fox’s message came loud and clear through the debate.

For the second debate trump should turn down the nose candy. His lack of septum is disturbing.

Didn't seem to me like he was on coke.

Next up...Pence and Harris.
Should be fun, he a White heterosexual Christian male.
The first time she insults him (if she does) he should simply walk out...saying "I don't have to put up with that and I'm not going to."
Insulting such males is what people can do with impunity these days.
Or he could insult her right back.

He'd be called a snowflake if he walks out.

When Trump was pressing Biden about any police unions supporting him, Biden should have just laughed/snickered and said that now it seems that Trump is a union supporter.

Biden needs to point out hat the reason the economy is bad and people are out of work is because of the terrible job Trump did with the CV-19 virus.
People are getting sick, dying, losing their jobs, and running into financial difficulties because Trump couldn't wear a face mask and tell others to do the same.

Biden saw a lot of pitches he didn't swing at.

Trump's supporters on this forum can not run from the fact that being pro-Trump is being pro racism.  Its out in the open now.

Run from it?  They love it.

https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2020/9/30/america-is-cracking-up-the-first-presidential-debate-proved-it/

They are celebrating our demise in other lands. Thank Trump.

But this is a good point:

An effervescent CNN personality assembled a group of socially-distanced, undecided voters from that notoriously fickle swing-state, Ohio. The gaggle of “I’m still on the fence” gnomes were treated with cloying deference and respect that they should never be afforded by anyone, at any time, for any reason.

As I wrote in an Al Jazeera opinion column earlier this month, if you are an “undecided” voter in the face of Trump’s soul-and-synapse-shattering, nearly four-year-long cavalcade of craziness, perjury, and criminality then, my goodness, you have either been in a self-induced coma or some form of witness-protection programme.

At the time of this writing, Trump has been in office more than 32,000 hours. The effervescent CNN host did not bother to ask the “undecided” gnomes why a one-and-half hour “debate” would help them make up their irresponsible minds when the previous 32,000 hours or more had not done the trick.

UNdecided voters are just deplorable-adjacent.

"made to" is what I presume you meant there.

Who is it that you think should "make them" do that?!

And why should they? Especially given that (a) Dept of Homeland Security and FBI both say that white supremacists are far more dangerous and deadly than the external terrorists, who are in turn far more deadly and dangerous than either BLM-related groups or the Antifa non-group, and (b) President Trump won't denounce white supremacist groups?

And neither will you.

I’m happy so many are working to see trump is as successful with his vile thug-centric ethnostate as he was with casinos and he is with golf courses and hotels.

Anybody notice an absence of Kid's and Ward's voices in here today?!

Heh.

The night started with kiidcarter8 ready to trash talk, posting some shit about how Biden was going to need time-outs, then, for some reason, that was his last post of the evening.

I actually give the two of them credit.  I fully expected them to be here crowing about how strong Trump looked, to defend Trump's calls for voter intimidation at polling places, and to explain away his call to white supremacists to be ready.  But, just maybe, Trump's behavior has finally reached the point where even they see it as indefensible?

Ha ha.  Not holding my breath.
