Here's what Bill Stepien, Trump 2020 campaign manager, wrote in a statement:

“All previously announced campaign events involving the President’s participation are in the process of being moved to virtual events or are being temporarily postponed. In addition, previously announced events involving members of the First Family are also being temporarily postponed. All other campaign events will be considered on a case-by-case basis and we will make any relevant announcements in the days ahead. Vice President Mike Pence, who has tested negative for Covid-19, plans on resuming his scheduled campaign events. Any further information about the President will come from the White House.”

Biden’s specific protocol is hard to find. I’ve been hunting around for it and nada.

Organizations built around good leaders leak less than ones built around utter assholes it seems.

My understanding is that, out of respect that we have massively short testing capacity in this country and that in Joe’s mind running for President does not put you on the front line the way a cop or a nurse or a grocery clerk is, he’d take behavioral precautions, do temp checks, test periodically just to be safe, or if he was in a riskier than optimal situation.

It may be more than that, but I haven’t seen evidence one way or another.

He and his doctor say his test was negative today.

If they are saying the same thing in a week, he’s most likely fully clear from catching trumpitis at the first debate.

I am still chairman of the board,” he wrote on a Labor Department form that initiated his claim obtained by the Ohio Valley ReSource. “We’re in bankruptcy, and due to my health could not handle the president and CEO job any longer.”
