Trump’s incapacitation started long before he began running for office. It continues unabated to the general detriment of all and to Americans acutely.

It’s time to take the bad old baby off the drivers seat and take that brutally unpleasant look at what he’s been accumulating in those dirty diapers.

No amount of hairspray covers the stench any longer. The coiffure won’t hold.

Having had to be aware of him for what must be 40 years by now, that is the nicest thing I think I can honestly say about donald.

I hope other people feel it is a generous and apt rendering for all its brevity.

On ABC's "This Week," Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller dodged questions about why Thursday's fundraiser in Bedminster, New Jersey, was not canceled after the White House learned that senior counselor Hope Hicks had tested positive for COVID-19, and pushed back against the notion that the campaign hasn't taken the virus seriously -- despite holding indoor events and not requiring facemasks.

Read all you want about the day at Bedminster:

https://www.wsj.com/articles/inside-trumps-last-public-event-before-disclosing-he-has-coronavirus-11601833568

Attendees had to test negative for Covid-19 on Thursday, complete a wellness questionnaire and pass a temperature screening, according to a Republican National Committee spokesman. The event site was professionally cleaned and sanitized before the event, and every guest stayed at least 6 feet from the president at all times, the spokesman said.
Who the fuck cares how they tested before the event? It's after exposure to Trump that their testing matters, dope!

For the first of two events, which began at 3 p.m., a group of about 20 people sat around a rectangular table for a conversation with Mr. Trump.

And was Trump masked, despite having been with someone he knew had Covid?

During that portion of the event, Mr. Trump spoke about the pandemic, said Rich Roberts, who is 63 and the former head of pharmaceutical company URL Pharma, who said he has contributed about $900,000 to Trump re-election efforts including Trump Victory, the joint effort between the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee.

The president said four or five vaccines could be approved in the next several weeks, and there is “great progress” on therapeutic drugs with several potentially up for approval in the near future, Dr. Roberts said. Mr. Trump also complained that federal administrators are trying to block or slow down approval of coronavirus vaccines for political reasons.

Sure. That's it. For political reasons. Has to be. Can't be for medical reasons, especially when he's being offered $900 K from the man with whom he's discussing the issue.

As America locked down this spring during the worst pandemic in a century, inside the Trump White House there was the usual defiance.

The tight quarters of the West Wing were packed and busy. Almost no one wore masks. The rare officials who did, like Matthew Pottinger, the deputy national security adviser, were ridiculed by colleagues as alarmist.

President Donald Trump at times told staff wearing masks in meetings to “get that thing off,” an administration official said. Everyone knew that Trump viewed masks as a sign of weakness, officials said, and that his message was clear.

“You were looked down upon when you would walk by with a mask,” said Olivia Troye, a top aide on the coronavirus task force who resigned in August and has endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden.

So, it seems to me that a man who would do such a thing as that is not whom we would call a "devout Evangelical". Unless that term means the opposite a person who is devout and subscribes to that particular form of Christianity.

Watch the video of the self-reporter, Rich Roberts, in which he details the meeting with Trump at Bedminster.

https://www.thelakewoodscoop.com/news/2020/10/exclusive-video-dr-rich-roberts-shares-details-of-his-meeting-with-president-trump.html

According to wikipedia, rich Rich Roberts has an interesting past.

In 2009, the FDA approved colchicine as a monotherapy for the treatment of three different indications (familial Mediterranean fever, acute gout flares, and for the prophylaxis of gout flares)[4] and gave URL Pharma a three-year marketing exclusivity agreement[5] in exchange for URL Pharma doing 17 new studies and investing $100 million into the product (of which $45 million went to the FDA for the application fee). URL Pharma subsequently raised the price from $0.09 per tablet to $4.85; and in October 2010, the FDA removed the older unapproved colchicine (in both in oral and intravenous forms) from the market (although they allowed pharmacies the opportunity to buy up the older unapproved colchicine).[6] Roberts indicated that the price increase mirrored other approved and branded drugs that were used to treat gout pain.[7] URL Pharma returned to profitability[1] with its gout treatment branded Colcrys consisting of 72% of the companies $600 million in sales in 2011.[3] Roberts sold URL Pharma for $800 million in June 2012 to Takeda Pharmaceuticals of Japan.[3][8][9]

He's a well connected drug dealer.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/this-is-insanity-walter-reed-physician-among-critics-of-trump-drive-by-visit/ar-BB19HqWa

Trump's Drive-by critiqued by a Walter Reed Doc:

James Phillips, doctor of emergency medicine at George Washington University, who is an attending physician at Walter Reed, called the stunt “insanity”.

“Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential ‘drive-by’ just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die,” he wrote in a tweet.

“For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity.”

In a second tweet, Phillips added: “That Presidential SUV is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play.”

Can't the Secret Service say, "No. We don't want to take unnecessary risks with you or our people"?

Walter Reed attending physician slams Trump motorcade photo op: "The irresponsibility is astounding"
From CNN's Kevin Bohn

An attending physician at Walter Reed National Medical Center harshly criticized President Trump’s motorcade photo op as something which could endanger lives of Secret Service agents who accompanied him in his SUV.

“Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential 'drive-by' just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity,” Dr. James Phillips tweeted.
Phillips has been an attending physician for almost three years at Walter Reed medical center and is also a board certified emergency medicine physician and assistant professor at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

“That Presidential SUV is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play,” Phillips tweeted.

I don't know dexamethasone, but have taken another cortico-steroid, prednisone which is kind of a miracle drug.  As immuno-suppressant and anti-inflammatory drugs, they both are good for severe allergies, arthritis, etc.  The trouble is prednisone has lots of side effects associated with long term use, so it can't be used vs. chronic conditions (such as arthritis).    I assume the same is likely true of dexamethasone and most other cortico-steroids.
