That’s right. Persistent mass murder has been underlying the whole coup. That is why a RICO structure for the prosecution. AG Garland will understand that.

But you prepare for the worst.  And should have contingency plans and force enough to handle whatever might occur.  It sure looked like having more security upfront and/or sufficient backup in riot gear would have stopped this.

Sure.

But you miss all the rest of the story

DC Police, National Guard aspects

No, Kid.

It's not that we miss that.

It's that you keep trying to deflect the conversation, to minimize what the rioters and terrorists and rebels were trying to do and were doing.

Some of them were their to KIDNAP congressmen/women.

Why can't you admit they were out for far worse than BLM?!

You are not Bo.  Sorry.

And yes, I do minimize.  Compared to what is being reported

This was easily containable.  And anyone who entered the Capitol

a). broke the law
b)  was in danger of being injured/killed.

Let it all be dealt with now, including police resignations, suspensions and the arrest of the wildings.

Oh, then there were the IEDs, the pipe bombs that Kid's "not like BLM" placed.

It's true - BLM never planted bombs.

Cracker ISIS.

No!
They didn't cook Christians alive in bread ovens.

They built a gallows for the lawmakers outside the building.

Catch up, you decrepit bastard. Post like you have and people will start to think Australians are all fucking dumb.

Josh I think the aspect that you are missing is who really cares what Red or kiid think about anything.

Covid: China places 11m under lockdown after outbreak in northern city

100 CV cases in one north central city.
So China goes with a genuine full lockdown -- no one in or out -- to protect the other 1.4B Chinese.  Isolation, quarantine, lockdown.  That's how you stop transmission.

One potential positive is it might speed up vaccination/vaccines in China.  There's been a lull and a definite wait-and-see approach, since the Virus isn't spreading and the vaccines are new and the pharma industry in China a bit shady.

CH New Year's and its attendant travel migration is coming up soon.
China knows that things could easily get out of hand if the govt and people are vigilant.

Lets get this straight, those conspiratorial Trump rioters in DC were TRAITORS!

They went to war to try and overthrow our government.

Kid is defending traitors who sought to undermine and weaken our country.

They should be arrested, tried and then if found guilty, imprisoned.

or shot or hung.

Capitol Police were the frontline and most responsible.  They reportedly have nearly 2000 officers.  They failed at their assigned task.  Capitol Police Chief is out.

Are others to blame and did other mistakes occur regarding DC police or national guards or other agencies?  Probably.  Look into it and hold others accountable.

But first things first.  Sort out the Cap Police leadership.

Really, I've always wondered how protected the WH (or Capitol) is from any kind of sustained assault.  How many armed police and special forces are there?  How quickly can they respond?  But say 100 people heavily armed and with tactical ability.  Could the WH really handle such an attack?  Doubt it.

Or how about a coordinated drone attack.
Say a dozen drones with bomb payloads or dropping grenades?
Wouldn't be much warning once they zoomed over the top of the fence.

With large groups of rioters, there's not much coordination, and so there's time to scurry leaders off to safe rooms and bunkers and such.  But a more military style assault, either conventional or automated, or some combination  . . .
