Trump has also decided to pardon Steve Bannon.

This will make Bannon's testimony in various federal courts harder to dodge with the 5th or anything else.

I sure hope it comes back to bite Trump hard on the ass.

Bannon’s owners tend to silence their minions more directly when the rubber hits the road. I wonder if it was a blanket pardon or in reference to particular of Steve’s criminal acts.

Well, the trial is set for May, so....

Way to keep up.

Nothing that was said has anything related to your asinine "way to keep up."

ETA: Bannon's own trial date is totally unrelated to what I'm discussing.

My response was to FAC

A mistake, yes - I know

I got that.

It was meaningless in response to him, hence "nothing that was said."

Ted Cruz, who was urging sedition two weeks ago, was just seen at the Inauguration minutes ago---taking selfies.

What a despicable creature.
And dangerous, given the trail of slime he trails behind him could freeze in the cold and create a fall risk.

Trump leaves office with DOW near 31k

Not only isn't the stock market not the economy, but the Top 1% wealthiest Americans own 40% of all stocks, while 85% of stocks are owned by the Top 10%.
So it's mostly a matter of the rich getting richer under a GOP president.  What a surprise.  Trump's Trillion $ tax cut resulted in lots of already cash-flush corporations buying back their stocks to pump up their stock prices for their already wealthy investors and executives.  With hardly a ripple in the real economy where the other 90% live.  The economy always does better under DEM presidents than under GOP.  The Clinton Boom was bigger than the Reagan Boom.
While big financial crashes and scandals always occur under GOP rule.

Fwiw,
Quote
From Trump's inauguration day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose from 19,827 to 30,930 on Tuesday, a 56 percent increase.

That increase is below the 73.2 percent rise the Dow saw in Obama's first term, or the 105.8 percent increase under Clinton's first term.

Trump leaves office with 31% approval.  Lowest ever recorded.
Wonder why?

51%

36% strong approve

Likely your 31 referred to that second number - polled by a different group.  And the overall is much higher

Your lies continue to be vapid and worthless.

Even when you are just using somebody else's.

I wonder if 51% of white Americans still support Trump.

He probably has a majority of white males.

I would like to see race breakdowns of Trump's disapproval ratings.

Why would you like to continue down the path of examining everything through a racial lens?
Because it needs to be?

Josh,  time to remove "Trump administration" as the main political thread?

Ten minutes left to nuke the Ayatollahs.

Because wiping out millions of people and poisoning the land for generations to come is such a good idea.

Your bigotry continues, unabated.

Josh,  time to remove "Trump administration" as the main political thread?

Yup.

Wish I had the power to do that, but I don't.

Otherwise, "Biden Administration" wouldn't be tucked into a different label and I would have deleted the empty fora.

"Draining the swamp," the same way he always has, on the way out the door:

https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/20/politics/trump-revokes-lobby-ban/index.html

Oddly enough, as the article notes, President Clinton did the same thing as he walked out the door. What Trump's ban did was intended to block Obama's administration officials from getting lobbying jobs, while pretending it was about draining the swamp.

We'll see if Biden reinstitutes the ban. It would be nice if he did and then if he left it in place when he left.

I thought you were done talking about Trump.

Peace, pal

Gotta let you go now permanently, as your offerings continue to wither

Enjoy the day.

Bannon aside, "The vast majority of the pardons and commutations on Trump's list were doled out to individuals whose cases have been championed by criminal justice reform advocates, including people serving lengthy sentences for low-level offenses."

That was a good thing he did.
